How to fly a P-51 Mustang ~ Onboard a 1400 HP Warbird 

Wow! First time I see the inside of a P-51 in flight! Amazing how a 60 y/o plane still flies like it was built yesterday. The ones that come to mind is the Tuskegee Squadron of WW2. Love that Mustang!

Oh man, I never get tired of hearing the sound of a Merlin. Greatest experience I had was watching a formation of 16 Spitfires, a Lancaster, and soon after a 109 flying in formation and then all chasing the 109 around at a display in the UK some years back. I tell you, that many of them shook the ground and you could hear them approaching before you saw them...rumbling getting louder and louder until they came in low over the crowd. Actually got goosebumps. They had P51s and some other stuff that day, too. I'd absolutely love to be able to fly or fly in some WW2 aircraft. My dad got to go up in a two seat Spitfire and was allowed to take the stick for a bit which I am supremely jealous of.

The sound of a Packard-Merlin is music to the ears.

Exceptional Mustang flight demo! I love the high performance aerobatic routine and multiple view points, especially the first-person-view and back seat view! Can't wait to practice the same from my smaller version, similar perspective with head-tracking camera in cockpit!😁

Ein absolut traumhaftes Flugzeug! Durfte heute auch einen Flug mit der Louisiana Kid genießen, wirklich fantastisch. Herr Heinz merkt man an, dass er wirklich weiß was er tut.
