so cute, i have a similar chi but with black nose here in Mexico and want to travel with him too to Europe. Did Aeromexico check Yumi's size? Are they strict on being able to srtand up in the bag?.. mine is about the same size as yours... thanks :)

No, they never checked the size, and didn't even look at her 😅 just the crate and paperwork. During the flight, she was in her bag, sometimes I just put my hand inside so she knew I'm there. Make sure you know their requirements because we had to submit our health certificate from the vet 10 days before leaving, it was stressful Have a great trip!! 😻

Hi! I will soon be traveling to Mexico with my dog from the US. What documentation is required and what really needs to be on the documents? I have been reading so many things about needing vaccines, deworming, etc…it all is staring to worry me about not having everything I need.

Hello! The primary focus is on ensuring that the necessary vaccines, including rabies, are administered to your doggy. As I remember, there are five vaccines given within the first year of a puppy's life. I didn't have any specific inquiries regarding deworming or other related matters.. ☺️

Can you carry a Chi in a pet sling while in the airport? I’m picking up my 10 week old puppy in a week or so at an airport and then we are flying back to my home.

I carried her in a sling the whole time in the airport during connecting flights and nobody said a word! Only at the boarding and on the plane she was sitting in her bag. Good luck with the puppy, you'll be the happiest, dogs are the best!! ❤️❤️❤️
