I hate case study funnels and being pitched just as much as you do, but if you're curious about how we help agency owners, coaches & consultants beyond these videos, the link below will explain. No bullshit, no email opt-in and no "FrEe TrAiNinG" to be found there. Check it out: www.theimperiu...

5 things to obtain level of focus 1. Diet: no sweetener/sugar or carbs during workday 2. Morning routine: (steady wavelength) 3. Awareness (your thoughts) = meditation: 20 minutes focusing on your breath 4. All or nothing: Finishing things 5. Environment: no distractions The evolution of short videos such as Tiktok and reels just makes people think shorter. Thank you for sharing these lessons

@@danieel4and Some of us have ADHD and have actual work to do(hence can`t spend 1+h on each video days on end). Love people who give timestamps as it saves time, gives structure and the possibility to skip topics that the listener is already familiar with. I understand the need to be focused long term(I get the point you are trying to make). Yet think it`s better to choose where one gives their hyper/laser focus instead focusing on everything equally. For example using food strategically is not a new point for me personally. Instead spending less time on work(which requires intense focus), I can spend less time watching/listening this video to get the information that is actually useful for me depending where I am at life.

Abundance is everywhere. The mentality of ‘You must lose for me to win’ is old thinking. Competition is the matrix way of keeping us bound in 3D thinking and living. The potential to succeed and live abundantly is infinite. Only bound by our narrow minds.

In the morning I often get up at (5AM-8AM). I eat some bread and drink a cop of coffee. At 11:30 AM I prepare my main meal, sometimes I don't add carbs. At 3PM I get my 2nd cop of coffee and some bread or a cake. I don't eat till the next day. For me it works great. I can do laser focus. One of my best superpowers is my ability to super focus. I can work 16 hours+ on a project and forget time or to eat and 100% focus on my project. It feels like the best drug and happiness. It's the ZONE. To reach the ZONE mind state, the project has to be interesting/fun, and I want to make it perfect. People playing computer games also get a laser focus - wasting energy.

1. Diet: Try to not eat meals with carbs before work. (2 big meals with a lot of meat at 1 AM and 8 PM) 2. Mornings: Keep the wave lengths of your brain as calm as possible by avoiding dopamine activities in the morning. 3. Awareness: Meditation 20 mins = concentrate on the feeling of air in your nostrils and keep repeating the cycle BREATHE-THOUGHT-ACKNOWLEDGE 4. All or nothing: Everything you do, make it focused. Finish the songs or videos you start (for example). When you want to do one thing, do only one thing. 5. Environment: Look at your desk, room, desktop, browser. Get all destractions out.

Ive watched the whole video without looking in the comments for the first time in my life. Throughout the video I focused and gained somehow opsession to finish things I wanted to skip the last 5 minutes of the video but something inner me said focus on it maybe you can learn something. Even tho I am music producer and last like 10minutes of the video wont apply that much to me the rest is helping me big time I even took notes like 5 pages throughout the video I want to be obsessive man of focus. I had girlfriend for 2 years I dumped my music career didnt care that much, I lost focus and money now as 22years old I want to be old me to be able to focus. Thanks for the video man I wad anxious and depressed lately because of current situation and to think that I lost big focus I had back than you really pushed me into different realm of thinking. Thanks I will come back after 1 month of practicing these things to tell you my results🙌

Some carbs do not need energy to digest like glucose and fructose, not all carbs are equal and carbs are so important in the morning, this is the brain's main fuel with oxygen ... and the body is depleted after 8hours of sleeping. So a couple of fruit in the morning is a great idea!

Awesome, very simple and practical, kept me 100% engaged till the end even without fancy video quality. My only advice to Charlie is to not to go too deep into the areas you are not knowledgable in. Your rule No. 1 on the diet actually works, but for completely different reasons. Carbohydrates, especially simple sugars, are the easiest and the fastest to digest. In fact, glucose is used by the brain directly without any prior processing in the stomach or guts. The sluggishness you feel after consuming a carby lunch is due to initial sugar overload and consequent plummeting. It can also cause headaches and other unpleasant side-effects if you don't exercise and have muscles fully stocked up on glycogen. Take care mate.

So a couple keypoints I made during this video. - @8:00 Time and Focus = Production. How productive you can be depends on how well you utilize those 10 hours of work you have in your day. - @17:00 DIET: Avoid sugar at all costs. Do not eat carbs until your 2nd meal of the day. Avoid stimulants. Eat an early meal so your body can finish digesting before you work. You either work or you digest, only do one of the two. You don't want your body to focus on two things at once. - @21:00 MORNING: The brain works on a wavelength. If you distract the brain before work you are making your wavelength chaotic. The more chaotic the wavelength the harder it will be for your brain to return to a focused wavelength. So the key is, don't feed your brain too much dopamine or novelty activities before you work. - @34:00 AWARENESS: Be aware of what distracts you both internally and externally. Remove external distractions. You need to be vigilant and learn to bat away distractions before they can take a hold of you. - @35:00 MEDITATION: Meditation is simplified down to focusing on the breath, watching your thoughts, and learning to redirect your focus from these distractions back to your breath. Focus is not a binary spectrum it's more like a cycle. The better you are at being efficient with this cycle the more focus you can achieve. - @50:00 ALL OR NOTHING: Basically what Charlie is explaining is that your entire life needs to reflect focus even in the small things you do. When you are speaking to someone or out in the world, turn off your phone so you can focus on the moment. No distractions. How you live life reflects how you work. - @54:00 ENVIRONMENT: Your environment is stronger than your willpower. You will always succumb to your environment. Do not put yourself in situations where you can easily be distracted. Control your physical environment and control what's on your PC. I like your advice. If I had to add to this video with my own personal experience I find that understanding how focus works on a psychological level helps improve my awareness on how to handle focus from within the mind. Someone that has helped me immensely on learning how to focus is Dr.K or really any good therapist who can help you pinpoint why you're having a hard time focusing.

absolute nugget of gold 1 food : avoid carbs intake during early mornings , body can spend energy either on work or on digestive process . also do intermitted fasting 2 awareness : there are 2 types of distractions . become aware of them . intrinsic and extrinsic intrinsic - internal like thoughts (more dangerous) extrinsic-while working someone knocking on the door etc is an example 3 meditation : pomodoro - the piece of shit . human mind is capable of focussing more than 6 hours . as in hunting times our ancestors had to wait and look for the movement in bushes for hunting . so do anapana meditation . simply observe your breath and be non judgemental to your thoughts. 4 all or nothing : do complete what you have started finish what you have started 5 environment (digital): remove all bs like insta , x , bumble from your phones . also use momentum and undistracted of desktop or pc (these are all free apps )

Male minds have evolved to perform better in competition. You can be creative in competition, but changing from a purely competitive mindset to purely creative mindset is genuinely stupid if you want to hit big results. Carbs to negatively affect your focus but it has nothing to do with energy. In fact, protein is hardest to digest and consumes about 30% more energy to break down. Carbs are 10-15% and fats 0-5%. So valid point but inaccurate reasoning. I definitely perform the best mentally on a zero carb diet.

Hey, just a slight correction with the carbs. Protein takes more energy to digest. BUTTT, the average carbs people intake which are usually processed, don't contain the correct vitamins or nutrients that are needed, and therefore cause it to be more complex to digest. Causing spikes in insulin. Not saying you were wrong at all! Just wanted to help aid clarification. I am an athlete and work out so when I heard that I had to do a bit of research to make sure of course. So if people opt in for healthy carbs that contain the necessary things to digest at a normal rate its probably close to the protein when it comes internal energy level digestion . Protein does give more energy as well. Not trying to correct just adding clarification.
