Excellent idea, I never thought it can be done in such a small portion, by heating the water in microwave and add starch into the water instead is very clever, should try that next time!

要盡快蒸及食,因為粉皮被雪乾或被餡潮濕了,都會破壞兔外型

Is wheat starch the same as wheat flour ? If not, can i substitute it with tapioca flour

Very different flour if so. You show this Chinese words to a Chinese grocery ‘澄麵’ , they will get you a correct one.

May I ask for exact measurements of wheat starch and cornstarch and water? I really want to try this first since I failed too many time with a big batch

Hello! Sorry to hear that. Please use the measurements that i stated in the video for a small batch for trial testing. Also please note that the water absorption of different brand of starch and corn starch can be very different, i suggest to start with a small batch firstly for testing.

The exact measurements are at the start of the video 0:12 (2 tbsp wheat starch, 2 tbsp cornstarch, 5 tbsp water)
