Haven’t watched yet but Is it just me or is it on Windows 10 where The more shit you delete the more it somehow duplicates and takes up more storage? EDIT: YES I KNOW ABOUT THE FUCKIN RECYCLING BIN

My computer literally just adds random files and apps on it then I’m not able to delete them. I’m not able to have anything on it and the search takes forever, I’m trying to reset it fully but I need more space. And it’s so annoying, I’m so frustrated because I constantly get notifications to free up space WHEN I CANT!

I have 22gb in my "Other" folder. Wtf is that? And when I click it, it shows nothing?

When I click on apps and games, I can see all those apps and how much space they’re taking up. But when I scroll all the way down, I see a few large games like csgo r6s etc. but it doesn’t say how much space they’re taking up?

Wow! Using the Storage Utility I found over 100gb of space Adobe Creative cloud was taking up on my C drive. These were old files I didn't need anymore, and they had all been moved to Google Drive. Thank you!

However, my huge problem is that I have enormous amount exactly video files which I should not edit to keep their original data. You are mentioning "Cloud" for keeping video files in this tutorial, but I have no idea if it is safe to keep your personal video files in "Cloud". Also, I saw that you use "One Drive" app. Can you also explain if it is safe to use it for strictly personal files and what actually it is used for. Please, help! Rather desperate to keep my second-hand computer in working condition as it is the only one and absolutely unreplaceable due to my personal circumstances of existence.

I think maybe my dropbox account is storing files not only in Dropbox but also on my computer. Have you heard of this and can you do a video on how to fix it so I can get my C Drive out of the red zone?

one tip I found out is when you're in apps and features. All the way at the bottom there are apps that dont have a listed storage space. I deleted some that I didnt use and free'd up 50 gb

I'm just confused on how my Apps and Features takes up 650GB. Yes, I use my computer for gaming but the largest file under that category is 11GB. Then, four other things in GB. I understand that a very large amount of small files can add up to a lot in the long run. But 650GB? This just makes no sense to me. Edit/Solution: It turns out that in your Apps and Features section of storage, your steam games’ storage use isn’t shown. Almost every steam game was just blank for the storage use, even though they were the main apps that were taking up storage.

Thank you, this video was very helpful. Started at 15.2MB free of 141GB, now at 64.5GB free of 141GB. Not sure of the math but I am sure it is a lot. I started out with RED all the way across my C: drive and now it is BLUE about half way across. When I opened up my storage, like instructed, my "other" storage was full, blue all the way across. When I clicked on it, it said no information available. So after a couple of attempts it did finally open the file and I saw why it was so full and deleted those files and that cleared out the "other" and gave me the results mentioned above. Thank you

I'm not sure what it's called, but could you please do a video on how to "reverse time", where you take the computer back a few days before changes were made? Kevin, I found your channel a couple of months ago, and I am loving all the great content. I have a question regarding storage space on my home PC. My Windows 10 PC has one 2TB mechanical drive, partitioned into C: and D:. Both C: and D: have data and C: has the OS and most programs. Is it possible to install a new SSD and move ONLY the operating system to the SSD? This would free up disk space and my system would hopefully run faster.
