I had to watch your video several times to get the knack of the freeze pain feature. What you didn' t explain is that you cannot have a header (or title) above the columns you want to freeze. I must have done mine about 6x before I figured this out. Then it works like a charm. Still love your videos nonetheless. Great job.

Doesn't work for more than one row or Column - would have been good to have a tutorial on this. SN (PS seems to be the split feature which works to do this)

Man, im coming from numbers on Mac, and Numbers is so user friendly it makes Excel feel very difficult to use. Now I know there are more functions and capabilities on excel which is why im crossing over. I like the challenge, and im thinking I need a Windows system as well as a Mac. So cool. Hi Kevin, are you able to explain how to freeze columns and rows, while keeping headers in your table? I tried splitting and it duplicates my table. I need to keep the headers because the table will be used by bith sighted user and visually impaired users using JAWS. Any help yiu could provide would be appreciated. Thanks!

That's great. However, I would like to know how to do this in Page layout view. If I select Page layout after I have frozen my cells, it gives me a message that it will disable freeze panes. This is not good from Microsoft. Is there a way around this please?

Is there a way of freezing a pane at the bottom of the screen. Let’s say for totals to be displayed at bottom whilst scrolling through a sheet.

I have Excel 365, but the Freeze Panes is sometimes grayed out. It's in the Window group in the View heading along with "New Window", "Arrange All", "split", etc.

Hi Kevin, I used some of Microsoft templates, and when I scroll down, the column headers are visible without freezing panes. How can you do that? For example, refer to the Grocery List template. You can see on that template and a lot of other MS templates that the headers replace with the A, B,C ...etc. while the example you showed here, you can still see the A, B,C ....etc.

Is there a way guys to split an excel file and showing my Z-AL columns on the top part of the screen, and at the bottom to see A-L columns. Whenever i try it both the colums on the top and bottom will move all together. these functions wont work for me.
