Thank you for watching my video, I have signed up for your channel and I hope you do the same for me. We can grow together and enjoy each other's videos. Gary
Thank you! I bought this place with 5 old persimmon trees and I ate my first one now I’m hooked! I want to save some for bread this winter. My bunnies and box turtles love them, also.
It's a big persimmon. It's good to eat. You also have a black dog. I've been taking care of the Black Dachshund for a very long time. You grind the persimmons and store them. That's a good way.
Hello my friend, yes I used to do that, now I freeze them in their skins. I found out I did not like the persimmons all ground up. I have a black and white Basenji and I have a red and white Basenji. TJ is the black one and he is my buddy, Joy is the red and white and she belongs to the entire family but sleeps in my room. So I guess she is my buddy too. THank you for watching, Gary
I am happy that this video helped, text me anytime if you have questions with persimmons. I cook with them too, last two years I have made persimmon pies. Gary
TJ looks like he's waiting for some vegan scraps to fall on the floor! Very nice tutorial Gary! I can't wait until my persimmons start appearing! Mine won't be as big as yours or seedless but that's ok!
TJ knows Chip that when I am in the kitchen he gets a large portion of food, I have noticed that Joy is learning that too. Thanks another 3 hours today. Have a great weekend. Gary
Hi Chip; I am climbing but when I look at monetization I have to get 4K in our year but that ok I am getting there just the same. Thanks Chip and I will be doing another round on your channel tomorrow. gary
All the compost in the city of Ontario is used again. So nothing is wasted. That is one reason why when my tubs get full, I use the company's mulch for my yard. Thanks for the visit. Gary
Do you live nearby, maybe we could trade for persimmon Bread? Here my friends tree stopped producing so you are very lucky to have so many trees and fruit. Thank you for your support. Gary
No, you really can't, the reason why is that 3 seeds per persimmon need to be removed before freezing, skin does not need removal. I know some viewers that freeze the entire fruit, but opening up the fruit gave you a chance to see that the fruit is not damaged, has bad spots, etc. That is why I do it this way. Thank you Dale for watching, soon my Persimmon pie will be out for your review. Gary
Hello Thelnaa; Fruit Thelnaa is so valuable resource. As a Vegan, I try to show not to waste any food or meals. I really like persimmons and this way I can have it for the rest of the year. Thank you so much for your visit and like my video. I sure appreciate your time here. My name is Gary
Beth, You are so welcome, and thank you for watching. I gave up the compost bc it was against the HOA rules. But I did it for a long time. What is a pawpaw? My name is Gary
@@HealthyVeganLiving A Pawpaw is a north American native that has been practically wiped out of wild existance with urban development. It looks and feels like a mango on the outside but has many seeds on the inside. It tastes like a blend of mango, persimmon and hint of banana without the banana aftertaste. The texture is that of a pudding similar to Mamey or Custard apple. Here in Arkansas I rarely see them but was able to find some at a farmers market about 8 years ago.
25th like. Thanks for sharing a very useful tip for storage of persimmons. Your blender is too good. learned a new thing today. stay connected and happy weekend friend🙏🙏🙏

OK it would be a very sweet tomato and it comes from a tree. This fruit can live in cold climates you might have a smaller tree than I but it would be delicious. Gary
Hi Cynthia, take out a bag, I used quart size bags, place it in a large bowl, when the bags thaws they always damage the bag and they leak. Start using it immediately, after thawing, because it will only last 3 days. Then I start using it on my cereal in the morning. They are raw so they can be used in drinks, on toast, in breakfast cereal, in cooking. Is that the answer you needed. Use my email address in the comment section, and see if I answered your questions. Gary
Gary,if you have some time, check my last video out. Tell me if you like the green effect. You might also do videos like that. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

Hi Michelle, I still have a few freezer bags, as long as freezer frost doesn't get to it, it can stay in the freezer for almost a year. I use them all the time in my smoothies, so good, so delicious. I am doing another 3 hours for your today. Love you my friend Gary
