I have the Guzzi shop manual and guzziology, and feel like with all the reading I'm still not sure what or how to go about something's .. lol but I figure it out, doesn't seem to be as many detailed videos on Guzzi 's especially the 2003 California stone. Enjoyed the video sir 👍
"Squirty squirty electronic water pistol" what a brilliant description of fuel injection! You are making great strides. Will the Cali become your new favourite??? We need to know! Re "the manual" got a copy of "Guzziology"?? Better than any workshop manual perhaps....
Hmm, I also call my fuel source a petrol tank, funny that. I like your tip for seeing where the fuel level is by using a clear tube. I heard somewhere that the builders of the pyramids used a similar thing to make sure the base was level, but I could be wrong, I may have read it, anyhow there still standing, so it must have worked, don't know if it's applicable to carburetors though, but shows what can be achieved with liquid in a tube. Keep the videos coming, they're a good laugh and slightly educational.
The trick with the clear tube goes back to the sixties with Amal controlled leak carbs, as to educational well I'm passing on tips I found to work for me, I'm always open to neat ideas to make my life easier. thanks for watching and commenting.
My 2009 california vintage keeps dying at 2500 rpm on the nose every time. No matter the gear or anything. It happen after I replaced cam shaft position sensor. I've now for new plugs new wires new temp sensor cam sensor. Still no differance. Anyone got a clue? I've also put all old sensor back on with no diffreances.
That sounds like it could be an ECU issue or perhaps an overcharge problem. I would start with checking battery voltage whilst raising the rpm if that is ok, move onto fuel pressure, same test after that I'm afraid you are into engine management territory.
Your a lovely guy but the presenting of your videos needs a bit of work. You keep lookin away from the camera and when you talk about what your doing you dont seem too sure about it. I suggest writin down what your going to say so ur more confident in your videos
