Mine got 1TB Hdd with no SSD and my CPU is an i7, Which SSD model do you recommend to add in and is it necessary to add the RAM? I use my laptop to play Valorant sometimes which is a CPU intensive game but due to my slow hdd i have problems with loading screens and get stuck. That's the only reason i want a little upgrade
I have a a51-51g-53gc. 8gb but 4gb is soldered on, so a 4gb sodimm is installed. I looked up what I could expand it to but that was years ago and now I'm uncertain. I think it was 20gb max?

Hey, I have the same laptop model but my one has 1TB hdd with it. I want add an additional ssd as well so that performance is faster. Do I need to disconnect the hdd from circuit while installing the ssd ?
If you’re installing windows fresh, you should be able to select which drive you are installing to. You’ll have to recognize it by size, since windows will just list your options as “drive 0, drive 1”, etc. If you’re not 100% sure and don’t want to mess up, you can unplug your existing drive temporarily. brother please help me how can i put ssd as boot drive and also drive c becomes my ssd one so that like my hdd is only now drive d and else but my drive c is running on ssd and boot drive as well
