Yep all reality show producers are schemers. They only cut in and make things up to fit their story no matter who gets actually hurt physically or psychologically.
@@co-signstangents8074 for real! I liked him well enough on Rachel and Gabby’s season, but he wasn’t my favorite or anything. I couldn’t stand Rachel though so that could be part of it 😂 but seeing how he acts in this season so far has made me so much more attracted to him. Hope producers realize that THIS is the type of lead we want to see !!
Bachelor Fantake - you CRACKED ME UP with your mis-naming of Bailey every time she was in a shot!! 🤣🤣 I am sad she is off the show only bec I will miss that!! 🤣🤣
I'm glad Brianna is gone. If you are focused on another contestant and not the bachelor, then you are not there for the right reasons. The drama is too repetitive..... and they all need a thesaurus. They are saying the same things all the time.
He chose to take a girl he just met to meet his family (and dog!). What was he thinking? That said, I liked Christina, she fit right in with everyone at his get together.
@@fluffytail6355 Lmfao I just thought maybe Zach just wanted to go to his mom's bday party and it aligned with filming of the bachelor 😂 so he was like ok I'll just do a 1 on 1 and bring whoever so I can see my mana on her bday
Zach is surprising me, I’m loving that he isn’t taking any bulls**t drama in the house. It’ll be interesting to see if he can keep being this matter-of-fact as he starts to develop relationships and the pool of women gets smaller
Also he was looking for a reason to send her home because of the kid. Come on now. If he was truly feeling their connection do you really think he would have sent her home without giving her another chance.
@@ikexbankai i mean it was probably something where he would be okay with being a stepdad for the right girl and anything less than that was just something extra to consider. like idk thats a lot of pressure i doubt he was looking for reasons, bc hes sent girls home as soon as he thinks theres no future so far
@@ikexbankai If he didn't want to be a stepdad to her child, that wouldn't be wrong of him to feel that way. I'm not saying that's why he sent her home, I'm just saying it wouldn't be wrong of him. I think it had more to do with not wanting drama in the house. Maybe he also sensed that she was a bit too immature for him.
Totally agree with you, for me he is the BEST Bachelor yet.....wasn't going to watch this season, but glad I did....You go Booooiiiiiieeeeee, I truly hope/pray he finds the one....
@@lespritdelescalier4858 my dad also never saw my grandparents argue. I wouldn't necessarily see it as a bad thing. He told Christina that time is so short and he doesn't want time to be wasted unecessarily on drama.
@@marysketch4772 She was making passive aggressive comments based on her insecurity. I wouldn't say she deserved to go home just yet, but was getting jealous too soon and a villain in the making.
I honestly think the no nonsense approach to drama is much more entertaining to watch than just letting the dumpster fire take up all the time…like peters season especially.
don’t be fooled Zach was looking for ANY excuse to send Christina home because of the kid situation. That’s it! It’s not because he wasn’t putting up drama
@@marksilla8276 10% of men have sex with 80% of the women. Thats the reason why she says she's never been on a romantic date. She's wasted he 20's with guys with money that have options. She could have married a guy making 50K a year he would treat her nice everyday. Women practice hypergamy. They cant date a regular guy or their equal.
I didn't notice her too much in prior weeks ,but I loved Aly! She was so quick, and witty ,and fun- I could see her being a very high energy, and bubbly bachelorette.
Yeah, they definitely gave her the bachelorette edit. I was thinking Kaity was getting it, but I think Aly is a better fit, personality wise. Kaity seems like she has a lot to work through still
It doesn't make sense that Christina supposedly was constantly discussing her 1-on-1 'to intimidate' the girls when she wasn't the one who told them about meeting Zach's family, he did! Also her comments to camera about getting a rose used footage from that 1 on 1. She was probably loud and annoying but some creative editing was used.
Yes! The edits are definitely out of order and it’s clearly staging an image agenda by the show for her. Just don’t believe this story line and the reasoning for her leaving.
While Christina was self-centered and loud, it sure looked to me like Brianna had decided that if she wasn't staying she was going to make sure that she took out at least one other person with her. She actually smirked several times when she was torpedoing Christina... if you look at her expression when she hugs Zach as she is leaving, it's pretty darn happy. My tinfoil hat popped on and I wondered if the producers had offered her a bonus or a slot on BiP if she'd take out Christina (they were on opposite teams of the football date and I think she was the one who made the comment that their team played fair (implication that the blue team didn't)
Totally. I got that vibe since last week. She went after Christina because she wanted airtime and knew her days were numbered. She also probably figured Christina would make it to paradise so clinching herself a spot on Christina's back. To me Brianna was super underhanded and just eww. Don't like her one bit
Why was Brianna going on about “starting to spiral.” Seems she has some untreated mental health or high level anxiety. Nothing wrong with that but she needs to take time and work on herself. The Bachelor has never chosen a person of color at the end of this show anyway.
@@fluffytail6355 Exactly, Roxanna is just a frustrated racist finding an excuse to rant about a beautiful blk girl. Christina acts entitled and spoiled, Brianna was not the only one noticing that. The other girls also backed up her story so Brianna was not making stuff up.. she was being honest and explained why she wanted to leave. She did not lie!
I work in TV production and from my perspective (unless they bring her back for paradise) something more serious happened with Christina behind the scenes that they aren’t showing us. Maybe she violated a harassment policy or smt and thy had to address it swiftly
I agree! Because what they showed on the show was not that bad! She said, "uh, I'm not that happy I'm kind of jealous" or something, that seemed natural given the situation. Then they just added weird music and people staring at her as if to confirm she had done something bad.
She said it was sad, but inevitable that a girl went home. And then she said she was confused that she didn’t get the rose. Neither of those things are bad at all. The whole thing was blown out of proportion. And honestly I feel like she was the one that was “bullied” because the whole house ganged up on her. For not being sad that there was one less girl in the house. Brianna was the most negative contestant in this show’s history. She was awful.
I noticed the Christina scenes had an insane number of cuts and things being said without us seeing her say them. Plus, Christina doesn't seem okay - she's either very drunk or sick. Yes, she did clearly say she was confused, but most of what really made it seem so villainous was editing. It was a tad overcompetitive/insecure at most. I have a feeling we'll see her suddenly come out with the real story someday.
It really did seem that way. I got a sense that maybe behind the scenes with the other girls she was worse, with how fast that one girl told her to “shut up for once”
I’m suprised that I’ve been lowkey staning Zach as bachelor since I didn’t really feel gravitated toward him during last season. But he’s just doing everything right so far I have to
Everybody keeps saying how they love Zach bc he cuts all the bs but I still can't get over how he has ... No personality? It's now been 3 episodes and we haven't discovered anything about his interests, goals, hobbies aside from family football frozen pizza. The conversations are so bland.. "I kind of just love how you love to have fun... I think". ??? Finding it hard to buy into this 'love season' if we don't see him connect with anyone about anything in depth
It’s probably a combination of him being generally bland and production. Matt James seemed way more fun once we saw bloopers. But I agree; I don’t think Zach and I would hit it off. He’s from Anaheim and it shows
agreeeeed !!! was looking for this comment. he seems like he has no substance to him at all and on top of that , he looks like every other bachelor lmao literally could be clayton and jesses love child 😂
Not to defend Christina because her comments were tone-deaf but the edit but a lot of emphasis on her drinking so I wonder if she was a little twisted during the group date. Some of the girls did comfort her when she was crying so I feel like they didn't all hate her just mostly the ones who were there maybe.
I just moved to the UK for six months so I can’t watch the bachelor and I have to tell you that your Fantakes are a GODSEND! Thank you for doing this! Might be even better than the show itself…
Love Zach's zero tolerance policy for drama. Don't love the giant wall he's got up that doesn't allow anything he says or does to flow naturally or show his genuine self.
@@ikexbankai I think so too, but also: so what? He clearly expressed his reticence and hesitation in ep2, and frankly he's entitled to it. The Bachelor as a franchise has encouraged faking step-parent enthusiasm for far too long. Some people are bound to love the idea, and others should be allowed to be iffy.
Or he is caught up in all the attention…his insecurities-we all have them-will manifest at some point. But if he stays true to his desire of finding a best friend partner some of those insecurities will lessen.
I'm so glad Christina was sent home her facial expressions, and demeanor are what contributed even more to her " malicious " vibes. Even if it " wasn't her intent", it definitely came off thar way. The little smirks ,and cringes 🙄.
I agree. Her facial expressions and demeanor said it all. When Charity got the rose you could tell before Christina opened her mouth she wasn't happy. I didn't believe her when she said that wasn't her intent. Uh...then why say anything at all and just keep your mouth shut!
I used to watch Fantake and David Neal but now I'm dumping Dave. He comes up with NOTHING original on his own, just regurgitates what he watches on other people's channels. And he bills himself as a stand up comedian yet he has literally never said one thing funny in all the time I've watched him. Fantake, on the other hand, is original, quick, witty, funny, snarky, sharp, and doesn't miss a clue. Editing & sound effects are top of the line. This really deserves an award.
Zach was given a good reason for himself to send Christina home because she has a child and he wasn't ready (which is fine.) But if she wasn't a mom she'd still be there 100% don't @ me. Brianna went home because she knew she wasn't going to get a rose and threw Christina under the bus on the way out as if she was the reason, surely with suggestions from the producers to do so, to really round out the mean girl edit.
Always bet on those Evil Producers. This show runs on drama. And Yes, Genevie did have a sling on her left(?) arm. They need to stop with the Bachelor Bowl. Too many injuries. Relay races can be fun and funny. Besides, it would be a true "walk of shame" if she walked in wearing the same dress she wore the previous night.
I was just online shopping while watching this video and Christina was one of the models for the sweater I was looking at. Spooky coincidence. (Pink Lily boutique, for anyone wondering lol)
I feel like Zach has gotten some coaching from production and a lot more control compared to other bachelors. Like almost every interview from every Bachelor lately was something along the lines of that they weren't prepared or really didn't know about the drama despite how blatantly obvious it was. Personally, I think the "no drama bs" stance from Zach has some production interference. I'm not saying its bad. I'm just saying I doubt it's all Zach. Like eliminating villains early, not immediately interrogating two opposing parties, etc, etc. I think the fact that the episodes so far are missing the most common bachelor drama tropes and attempts to prolong their screentime says alot about how much production is pulling from the background. Like 25+ seasons of Bachelor with like the past 5 Bachelors full of the typical drama tropes and mass drama screentime yet Zach conveniently doesn't?
So far he is the best one I have seen, (my first episode was final 3 in Sean Lowe’s season). Matt James got off to an amazing start and so did Juan Pablo. The contestants are the best in recent memory as well. I didn’t care for Brianna and Christina could have done less but they are tame compared to villains from other seasons!!!
I am truly shocked by how invested I am in this season so far, Zach is showing such maturity, while also being charming, funny and considerate to his group of girls. Such a breath of fresh air after Peter, Matt and Clayton 😭
So Cat went home on week two and 3 of the other 5 women introduced at the end of Gabby & Rachel's season all went home in one night? Yikes. Brooklyn...watch out gurl...
Is it just me or did this episode have really weird editing? The lower thirds that show people’s names and stuff usually aren’t formatted that way (like, why tell us Jesse Palmer’s age???) and they usually have a graphic behind the text so that it’s easier to read. And they also added a “COMING UP NEXT” segment before the commercial breaks that made me think the episode was ending multiple times.
is it just me or are some of the women this season super impatient about forming a connection? we've barely started and 3 women now have been sent home outside of a rose ceremony (not counting christina) after "confronting" him about their chemistry. i feel like this doesn't normally happen and definitely not this soon
Seriously! They go into every conversation they have with Zach with negative energy, already expecting him to comfort them without any sort of trust or connection being built first. Obviously a guy isn't going to like you if the only things you talk about are how uncomfortable you feel dating him 😂 It's really bizarre.
Not sure what Christina Mandrell did that was so awful, unless they aren't showing it all to us. I mean to say or indicate you are jealous if someone else has a good time with Zach doesn't seem so awful; what do they expect? A little more risque is something I read that she supposedly flirted with another contestant when drunk at the first party. Great, interesting recap as always!
But imagine being stuck in this house with no contact with the outside world and this is what you’re dealing with? If they could go home or call their families, I’m sure they’d react differently, but this show is their entire lives at this point. If you’ve ever been in this kind of scenario, cut off from the world, you go a little insane quickly
Yeah, I love how the girl who has had nothing but negative conversations with Zach decides in the middle of a party to have another negative conversation with him, throw Christina under the bus for something she didn’t witness because she doesn’t like her, then ruin the party for everyone else and bring the night down and then leave. Boy, that was really unselfish of her. You go girl! Yaasss queen! She was the worst and Zach fell for it.
Here is the thing I don't think Christina did anything actually villinous. What she said on the group date was just dumb to say out loud but most of them were thinking that for sure. And I don't really trust Briannas judgment of her bc of what we saw last week. She took what was crealy a joke and made it out to be this horrible thing.
She is entitled. The proverbial I’m the Eurocentric standard of beauty so I must be better than all BW. Christina: I don’t understand? ( when Charity received the rose) = cognitive dissonance. How could he give a rose to a black girl.??? Lol She didn’t just say she was jealous-she essentially stated that it shouldn’t have happened. It’s called a micro aggression.
Brianna was the real villain of this season. She was negative in every interaction she had with Zach. She was always whining to the camera during her interviews. She ruined the pool party for everyone which is just plain selfish. And she threw Christina under the bus because she didn’t like her based on her comment from night one. She’s been trying to tell Zach that from the start and he should’ve continued to shut her down. Glad she’s gone. Hope this is the last we ever see of her. Feel bad for Christina.
@@vanillaghetto I’m not gonna agree with your take on her race (you are entitled to it) but Brianna (not a bad person) came off very entitled and is my least favorite person from this season. Christina tried to come off as an alpha and I could have seen her go far but she shot herself in the foot too much and (maybe) being a mother didn’t appeal to Zack as well!!!
Rachel slamming to the ground was frightening. 😱 But even more unbelievable was production making no big deal of it… making me wonder if brushes with death are addressed in contestant’s contracts. Has Rachel ever discussed it, post-production?
I am glad that Zach and production aren't (yet) feeding the drama, but when Zach said "I'm here to find my best friend and I have to deal with stuff like this" I'm thinking you signed up to find your best friend on a reality show...you knew this was a part of it. I think its a tricky line between not wanting drama and wanting all your contestants to be solely happy people and not communicate stress or bullying.
Yeaaah kind of a red flag to me. Is he the kind of guy that every time you come to him with a concern or feeling that isn’t ‘happy happy’ he’s like “Uh, smells like drama to me. I don’t want to hear it. Can’t deal with it. Figure it out yourself” 🤔🤔🤔
This went by way too fast. I think this might just be my favorite Bachelor Fantake - The Bachelor RECAP, ever! I DEFINITELY underestimated Zach for this season. He looks like he really is serious and isn't going to put up with any crap from any of the girls. Equally, these ladies look like they are serious and the best part is, NO DRAMA! Give me more.
I think Zach is a great Bach . He eliminated the Drama asap . loved it !! He is a very good communicator , Rare for a guy , better than past Bach's . Level headed and very sane . love it so far . Good on ya Zach, keep it up. Mandrell was very self -centered , glad to c her go.
If Christina is this season's villian, this will be a drama free season. I didn't think she was that bad. A little tone deaf and self-centered, but definitely not a Courtney or a Victoria.
I was confused about the drama with Christina at the group date - I thought her confusion comment was not about Charity getting the rose, but about why the other girls were so effusive in saying how happy they were for her. As in, I’m confused why you’re happy that your competition is doing well. But she never clarified so maybe she did have worse intentions - it just felt to me like it was still petty, but not as cruel as the other girls interpreted it as, which seems like it would have been easy to clear up.
I hear you with this, but if you re-listen to the scene she also says "I'm confused... I'm mad it wasn't me, Duh".... So I don't think we could believe that she meant something different you know?
I wonder if Brooklyn is being slowly set up to be next main villain, or a "transitional villain" who just provides judgy confessionals until production pushes another villain to the front.
The only other time I can remember a contestant having an early over night like Katie got was during Bachelor Jason Melznic's season (maybe 2008?) with the original F2 Molly. He was the first Bachelor to flip flop and go from his F1 to his F2. In retrospect, the signs were all there in the reading in the edit. Melissa the Cheerleader was his fantasy, but blonde Molly was the physical turn-on. The girls in the house then then as last night recognized the advantage that alone time all night away from the cameras gave to the girl who got it. The writers start out with a storyline. My suspicion is that Christina, single Mom, was possibly meant to be the redemption story for the very popular single Dad Nate that did not make it with Gabby last season because with her background she just could not see herself being a stepmom. Zack on the other hand just appeared to need a little time to warm up to the idea which is not that untypical for a male. What went wrong with this storyline was Christina herself. Bright bubbly big personality Christina that Zach appeared to have mucho chemistry with at his parents' house did not do so well at the house. Christina is an extrovert...out front personality, get the attention. Was it the other girls? Was that the problem? The old saying goes, "Some folks can't hold their lickker." Christina on and off alcohol (in the house) were 2 different people. On alcohol she talked and talked about her 1-1 date, she said hurtful things, and she complete came undone....(To Zac, "Help me, help me, help me. Please help me.") Christina with the beautiful personality and so much potential is probably one of those folks who doesn't need to drink.
OMG! Black girls on this show are so smart, eloquent, hold a conversation really well without saying “like” a thousand times and still a guy will choose a girl who says “I’m someone who likes experiences” lol
I thought the Christina Mandrell drama was stupid. Women say stuff like that all the time and its ignored because everyone understands this is a competition for love (high stakes) and when you don't win it sucks. This is manufactured offense and drama at its worst. This season is so unproblematic this is really the most they have to complain about that someone is not happy that you got the rose over someone else. And lets be clear each person here is here for themselves, Christina is just the only one apparently being honest about it. She could fake smile about it. But wheres the integrity in that exactly? This was a case of getting out the top dog. She met the parents and was a front runner and the girls were jealous. She even chose to hide this from the girls so they wouldn't be jealous.
