How To Replace: GE Detergent Dispenser WD12X24058 www.appliancep...
Symptoms: Broken; dispenser door won't open automatically or it won't properly close.
Tools: 5/8" open-ended wrench, 5/16" nut driver, 1/4" nut driver, Phillips screwdriver, putty knife, two 5/32" Allen wrenches.
This GE made Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser replaces the following older part numbers on General Electric, Hotpoint, RCA, Sears, and Kenmore Dishwashers: WD12X23539, WD12X22515, WD35X21736, WD12X22576, WD12X21054, WD12X10415.

Great demo of how to get the door panel apart and put it back together. I needed a slender 1/4" driver to fit around the dispenser fasteners easily. So I used a multi-tool driver with nothing in it that happens to have 1/4" hex for adding attachments.

Thank you for making this a straight forward repair. Happy purchased part from you because of this video and installation was as simple as you described. Actually, i was able to do it without sliding the dishwasher out.

after everything is done, I started dishwasher and the water is leaking from under the door, it was working fine before replacing the dispenser. any suggestions please!
