Thank you. I watched this to see how the door comes apart . You can do this without removing the dishwasher. Just make sure when you disconnect the spring cable from the door you keep tension on it when you lay it aside so that the spring does not disconnect from the cable or from the chassis because that might require you to then remove the dishwasher to reconnect the cable and spring.
you can also just stick a small allen wrench or screwdriver through the holes on the hinge. This will lock them in place and you can unscrew the hinge from the door and remove the door that way as well.
Great tip, thanks! I was able to grab the cable bracket with pointy-nosed vise grips and remove them without taking the dishwasher out of the cabinet. Huge time saver!
Thanks for the video. On certain models, there are an additional two screws (torx bit) on each side of the door in addition to the two bottom screws (5/16). These must be removed to remove the inner door sleeve.
