@Peter Loo I mean they're running out of ideas for GTA online DLC since the drug wars DLC was made up of reused missions from the story mode and only 3 original missions. That's a big sign that rockstar is officially running out of ideas and gta 6 isn't even finished yet. I knew that by abandoning RDR2 rockstar would fuck themselves over in the future and it's finally happening now just as I predicted

Just one thing to note some heirlooms require the metal detector it just depends it’s down to rng but at least 1-3 pieces in each daily set requires you to start digging the dirt 😊

The family heirlooms don't require the metal detector or the shovel. The random heirlooms do. All the collector items he says to pickup in this video can be done without a shovel or metal detector.

No, you NEED to get bounty hunter first to get gold so you can buy other roles and also to get bounty hunter saddle (Nacogdoches). Your horse never gets tired, any horse, all horses are equally fast only saddle and stirrups matters. So you kind of need it before starting to ride around map to find collectables, i wouldn't even bother with out it. Next role can be collector, but you really don't need money as much as you need gold. You only need money for Navy revolver, Lancaster repeater and bow, that's it, that literally is end game gear, it's very cheap and you get it early when you are still low level. You can use that when you are level 100 or even 1000. Get pump action shotgun when it's on sale and you are good to go and any horse and Nacogdoches saddle and stirrups when you open that level in bounty hunter. New players even get 10 free gold bars if they do "two step verification with social club", so that's free bounty hunter role right there and they get also free gun card in benefits, save that for Lancaster or Navy. Bounty hunter daily guests are also the easiest in game and fastest to do so you can keep your streak going so you can get next role fast as possible.

Nachogdoches saddle isn’t the bounty hunter saddle. You can get it without any roles you just need to be a certain level to unlock it

Personally, I'd go for bounty hunter, then go for collector. That way, you can get money and gold at the same time when you're grinding. This will make getting gold a lot easier.

Yes. Bounty hunter may not give as much dollars but is the only role that gives gold, so it's very helpful

If you could do heists and get a bunch of money at once, they wouldn't be able to charge you exorbitant fees for basic equipment and encourage you to buy the in-game currency. They make more money by keeping the economy of the game tight and limiting what you're actually able to do to make in-game currency. They have the scaffolding of an incredibly immersive, groundbreaking MMO, as other commenters have pointed out. But they don't want to make an immersive MMO. They want to make an arcade-y, frustrating grind fest that encourages you to enter your credit card information into the PlayStation store to make it go faster.

I play both GTA and RDR2 on my free time. I used to love GTA online when it was just a simple online game then the money glitches came and oppressor MKIIs. Now i play RDO and kept thinking, why rockstar kinda abandoned this game. It has so much potential and lots of fun. You can do basically anything on the map. From hunting animals to bounty hunting for money. I hope rockstar update this and give players a chance to buy properties just like in GTA online.

Honestly I enjoy this game far more then GTA V for a few reasons. I just really like Western stuff, I like not being obliterated by a flying car or a Oppressor mrk2 and overall it just has a better vibe. It really suck that they abandoned the game but I’m still holding out some hope that they’ll start doing more with it soon.

No side missions other than the tiny storyline for the moonshiner. It's just the same old same old. I'm happy when I get a naturalist mission I haven't done before

I just don't get the lack of development for RDO. They have a really fleshed out framework for just about everything anyone could ever ask for. Full frameworks for survival, cooking, hunting, bounty hunting, good/evil alignment, customization, horse taming, trading, story missions, vehicles of all sorts, it goes on. Instead it's this weird mish-mash of arcade playlists and random instanced missions when the free roam itself is such untapped potential. I just don't get why they didn't just turn this into some crazy super-immersive RPG. Everything's there.

my grinding technique is waiting for my strong moonshine batch and trader goods to be ready while I get money from other roles I can do by myself, collecter and bounty hunter in the mean time. Those all together gets me like 100 dollars or more by the time the moonshine batch is done. Then I sell that and I get around 200 something dollars. At the end of the day I sell the trader goods when is like 635 dollars. And I make 1k to 2k a day. And for gold I get that by doing daily role challenges everyday and keep my streak doing. I get them as well by doing the bounty hunter missions

A more simplified method of earning would be to collect every card, flower (3 sets per day), heirloom, and bird egg as often as you can. When you have 15 gold, buy the collector role, at which point you will have dozens of sets to sell to M. Nazar. Each set sold earns you 1500 XP and you will rocket through the levels. You receive a treasure map every five levels, which will give you approximately one gold bar and $100.

While I appreciate this guide and all the details in it, this is also how to be driven mad playing RDRO and suck the joy out of the game, doing missions and random stuff makes you money, not huge, but you enjoy the game more rather than make it a chore (I did that with GTAO and every time I logged in it felt like work).

Not really? I mean other than having to start the moonshiner, and get materials for the trader. You can really just mess around and have fun the rest of the time. We have fist fights and we kill entire towns for fun. Then the posse leader just dips for a minute, or we go do a quick legendary animal mission for materials and then keep having fun. The collector stuff is boring, which is why I don't use it as a money maker, I just pickup stuff I'm near and I'm already level 17 having only had the role for like 3 weeks and not playing every single day. Collector is hands-down the easiest role to level up. You can get level 10 just by doing one set of the tarot cards and family heirloom. Might take 3 hours. If even. Plus the eggs. 300$ for 9 different types of eggs, and most of them you get multiple of. So for the next few days all you have to go get is an eagle egg and then you have another set.

You get more rewards for taking MORE time to complete the mission, which normally would mean that you're less efficient, so how would that make you more money? Collector doesn't pay out right away. You need like 3 real day cycles to start making money. Talking from experience. And was I going for all collectible spots. It's because you need around 1250$ to buy right tools. Good horse like turkoman is +770$ (with discount) I think first role as Bounty Hunter will give you better money. If you don't want to invest a lot time in this game. And abilities from bounty hunter job is better for your survival.

I have to say this video is a little misleading and I do not agree with alot of it. One, you'll make around 3k in a day I'd you are fully playing for the day, maybe a bit more but youd have to put in the time for it. Trader needs 100 supplies for the largest supply run, 1 supply takes 2minutes, so two hundred minutes is 3hours and 20minutes, not "couple hours" Bounty hunter should be the first role, once you have 5star legendary bounties you have a cool $150 plus 1-1.5k xp and 0.36-0.48gold every hour (Yukon run takes 7-10min and you wait til atleast 12min to finish it) Trader is not that passive, it takes time to gather the supply and it can be a grind. Lastly, one hour to collect 2decks and family heirlooms?! Impossible, 2 hours would be a super good time to gather all that.

I would recommend working toward the moonshiner role as quickly as possible because you can generate the most money with the least amount of effort. After leveling up a bit and upgrading your operation, you can make strong moonshine, and by adding a three star flavor to a batch you can make almost $500 in one delivery. While you let Marseilles make a batch for ~48 minutes (for strong moonshine) you can go out and do other stuff like hunt, pick up bounties, etc, then make a quick delivery run when the batch is ready. Collector can make you more money and even trader depending on the haul but they require more time and effort.

a tactic that i used to use and still somewhat use is do 2-3 star moonshine, get $450-$490, then start a new batch and after that spend 30 minutes on a 5 star bounty which used to give me roughly $300, but now only gives me $220

Why are you feeding blueberries wrong information? Ok moonshiner role you just don’t walk in order mash then leave yes you can do that but it’ll cost you $50. You need to do a few bootlegger missions to lower the price of the mash down to $10 so you can earn max profits. You can get bootlegger missions from Maggie at the moonshine shack or at checkpoints that spawn in the open world, ie kill a handful of revenue agents. Or just do one of the moonshine story missions that usually brings it down to the lowest cost. As for the stranger missions DO NOT wait until the last 30 secs to finish the mission, set a timer for 12mins when you hit 12mins then finish the mission & it will give you a guaranteed 0.32 gold. Do not go by his method trust me I have $1.25M in RDO I know how to maximise & make 💰 one last thing, you’re welcome whoever reads this please take heed‼️

@@DOSsector big game with mint is my go to. Mint is for health oregano for stamina & thyme for dead eye. These yield a gold core for a full day in game. I don’t really bother with tonics unless it’s a daily challenge but I’d recommend maxing out on all tonics just as insurance so you always have stock. Special health cure is by far the best for health that’s obvious or special dead eye. Big game comes from bears, gators, wolves & cougars & the bolt action gives a clean 3* kill. I’m currently doing jobs for Sean McGuire to build up my capita for a job right now but it’s going to take a while. Keep me busy though. I enjoyed it for the first time in ages.

You can also use the naturalist role to fill up your supplies for cripps. Just put the pelt in your hunting wagon and go hunt another until she gets pissed off😂. Just make sure you hunt the bigger animals such as the Buffalo, elk, etc.

I bought red dead online for pc after years of not playing it. Its a favorite game of mine don’t get me wrong, but… It’s exactly what I remember. No private servers. No fun roleplayers like GTA. No community. Sometimes you’re just standing there, people come up, shoot you in the head, run off. It’s just so lame. It’s so boring to have 0 interactions other than some random lvl 500 shooting you dead while their gang of 4 people circle you. Like it’s lame. I don’t mind ppl having fun but it’s very weird. I just wanna have some kind of existence that isn’t random strangers trying to troll. I wish for specialized servers for different types of players. The hair styles are terrible. I was hoping they would have more by now. They need a typing chat option, would be nice. I know it’s not immersive but it would be nice. unfortunately rdr suffers from alot of hackers roaming around and just griefing people. Got griefed 4 times within an hour, i just decided to log off and play gta instead where i can just run solo sessions and invite friends and be left alone.. shame rockstar doesnt' care about rdr as it has so much potential.

I did honourable missions, bought a mustang horse, a decent gun for war, a varmint for naturalist, and bounty hunter license.. but it’s still so much effort.. I then paid real money for some gold bars only to learn you can’t even swap them for in game money 🤦‍♂️ I was able to buy for naturalist license and moonshiner etc but you are still repeating yourself over and over.. For such an amazing map/world I feel like they could do so much more with it. So far I’m just having fun collecting samples from all animals but once that drys up I think that will be me done with RDR2. Shame it’s so hard to make a bit of money

If you dont have moonshiner yet I reccomend you picking herbs when you are doing missons or just passing by them. It helped me so much that for a really long time because I did not need to buy or pick herbs for flavors

Now moonshiner sucks without double money lol it takes 15 gold to buy a shack and $1800 to upgrade it just to make $220 every sale, I just recommend the trader with legendary animals

Yea go Bounty hunter first.. Grind Etta Doyle which is just too easy ( look for guide ) then do normal bounties so you get gold and bounty hunter xp.. You'll be at another 15 gold in no time.. Noobs need gold rather than money.... They can't even buy most stuff until they are higher level

What i do is i make enough meterials for the trader role till 100 right then i wait obv 200 hours which is 3 hrs 20 mins till its full and i make 625 dolls a deliv but while i wait that 3 hrs 20 mins i do collecter sstuff cause u can do almost depending on how long u take to do each one about 3 sets cause it probally takes 30 mins to 1 hour to complete like the card sets
