This is getting more and more saturated. It’s hard to get in fresh out of high school if you didn’t get references. Even changing careers if you haven’t even used your LinkedIn in forever. It’s good for people that’s has no experience to start at low salary Tech job just to get your foot in the door work your way up. But have a legit bills with family coming from 90k to take a pay cut 40-50k that’s hard. Then it’s like you can get the interviews but then to have multiple interviews 3-4 wow. This field is definitely hard to get into. It’s a lot of support and if you’re into this definitely need to pay for a mentor and stay on youtube constantly listening learning taking action. great career once your in.
“We can be ratchet……have to be able to take that ratchetness and transition that into confidence.”? That doesn’t make sense. Nah we have to get away from that “ratchetness”
@@itsmarcomarcel that’s understood but that’s some people’s personality. I didn’t want to say “it’s wrong to be ratchet” because in my mind, I sound like I’m judging them. That’s why I said “at some point, we have to be confident.” It’s a better way to put it in my opinion. It’s meeting people where they are, not trying to change them, but offering a different way of showing up….confidently. We all see it differently and that’s ok. 😉
@@supastar5702exactly. That foolishness about straddling the line between being ghetto and being professional needs to stop. A lot of us want to remove that ghetto stigma from being Black but there are always 🦝's who want to keep it there.
They are talking like six figures is billionaire status. Six figures will barely pay your bills in the not-so-distant future. Also a few things they said is very generic and nonsense.
