Good stuff per usual. Applying after speaking w potential leadership has worked. Allows for a tailored cover letter that references the convo. Optimizing LinkedIn is huge, then connecting w hiring manager. Deliver personalized value and pose conversation starting question in sub-40-word DM. Connect with org leadership. Set meetings. 100 applicants maybe 2 actually execute.

Hey Trent, I find your videos super helpful. What kind of position would you suggest to apply to for someone who has a successful history as an account manager in Medical Devices. BDR/SDR or Account Executive? Would prefer not to start over again but I appreciate your candor.
