So, my 6 year old child’s emotions are huge. Say for example. Tonight… he wanted to try and play chess, but his 3 year old brother took the piece and tried playing freely, not by the rules. 6 year old starts hitting him and pulling. I take him away so that he can’t hurt his little brother but then hits me repeatedly. I’m just trying to keep them both safe while he calms down enough to talk to him. But I’m at a loss. He opened up to me afterwards, we talked about it. But, his anger runs so hot he hits first.
