Great breakdown, thanks for creating. Could you do a video taking us through a sample design challenge-- your thinking and process, what your deliverables looked like etc
Hi Tony, your videos have really helped me while preparing my portfolio presentation for Design interviews. I would also like to know how you handle a design challenge, your process, and your tricks to solve complex design challenges.
Top notch content Tony! Upon seeing your resume and the work you've done, I cant think of a better person that would fit a roll in any of these companies better than you do! keep up the good work
It was really helpful, thank you so much. Detailed and formatted discussion us what extremely needed to a person looking for companies like google, facebook, amazon, apple etc. Thanks again.

This video encouraged me a lot thank you . How much experience do I need to work with Google? What sites would you recommend for challenges to create a ui ux portfolio ?
Nice video..you are doing great..since I also run education channel @webworldzone Tutorial but also love to see other youtuber who are educating people worldwide. Keep the good work 👍
Hey! Glad to see your video, I found randomly on you tube & I watched full video, I have something to ask you. Basically I have done graphic designing course & used to work with a similar company as a graphic designer but I changed my track now & working into other designation, I just want to ask if we apply in some mnc then do we must have any diploma or degree for graphic designer & animator etc... however I have 1 year diploma as well.. but I am just asking it is neccessary to show overthere...?? Kindly reply me as the earliest convenience ... I am your new subscriber dude.... 👍
thank you so much for this usefull video! i want to ask one thing that is there a need of degree in case?? and what r its eligiblity criteries for it??
Hi Tony, would you help me to understand what are the skills you had during your application and also how what are the skills The big companies look for ?
Thank you so much for this video. I plan to start UX UI designing as a career but i don't have a relevant degree. I have a Bachelor's degree in architecture and a masters in Urban planning. I am an indian national and i want to know whether it's even possible to land up a job in a US firm with H1B sponsorship in my case. If not, what is it that i need to do?
Question: I am currently working as a ux designer at an agency. I do not have a “relevant degree” so was wondering if this will hold me back as I progress through my career? I was thinking of doing a hci masters but it’s a lot of money. Would be great to get your input on this. Will I hit a wall when applying to places like Google without the formal background.
Thank you for sharing Tony, but I have a question. I am a fresh graduate in Indonesian College, but my major not in design but in animal science. I have a hobby in design and also have 3 years' experience in design when I am still in College. Do you think I can join a tech company for UI/UX designer job, what should I do first to prepare so I can get a job in a startup company?
Not required but great to have. It's one of the 5 analogous skills I recommend to develop, along with sketching, photography, illustration, and video editing. Check out my "Most Valuable Technical Skills" video for more details. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PvPWqP1yYPA.html
hello dear Tony Many thanks for a great and inspiring video like this. I'm really eager to know that by what education you succeded to join Google as a designer?! There are millions of design-related university majors like ''HCI'' etc. so what was yours?
I think the major doesn't matter. The important is your portfolio, and then your experience. Try to pick great companies when you start, where you can learn a ton.
I am very new to graphics designing. I’m starting to learn small works like portraits. My childhood dream was to get a job at Google. Now I am motivated to see you. Can you tell me what I need to learn, so that after 5-6 years I can become proficient enough to apply for a job at Google. I ask because i don't know enough about graphics designing. Hope you help me....
Can this be done with similar salary in other U.S. cities; such as Austin, Boulder, Chicago, Boston, or Atlanta? Can't wait to hear what you guys have to say. :)
Very helpful video, please can you make a video of how get started as a ux designer ,if not from that background,i have completed bachelors in engineering computers ,i want to know is there a chance for people coming from diffnt background study....to get job as ux Designer
Yes, particularly if you're from Engineering. I recommend learning Sketch or Figma, doing a daily UI challenge, and reading as many books and article as possible about UX design.
Yes very informative 👍 I have a question that what is the basic qualifications required to get a designer job in these companies ? If person Master of Architecture with product design specialization subject are eligible?? Please advise. Thanks
