Goodluck to every family members of yours.. Cause android has a shorter life than iOS.. Android has 2-3 years of android updates while iOS has 6-7 years. Even the iPhone X that came out in 2017 is still supported, while the s9 which came out in 2018 is stuck at android 10.. Forever.

@@BettyJohnsTV13 it really depends on what you buy, if you went for budget one the yes, the lifespan sucks, else high end model last for very long time, my dad have a Huawei mate 20 before the ban, still looks like the day he bought it, the budget one that I gotten last 1.5 years (nova 3i)

@@BettyJohnsTV13 Samsung a53 has 4 years of os upgrades and 5 years of security. Also, all Google services work with Android 5 and up, only a few demanding games require Android 7 and up. Android 10 is still perfectly usable, and no problem with it.
