Thank you so very much! This was super easy to follow along with and simple to understand. I will be recommending this video to everyone in my Jeep Club.
I just finished signing up and paying for my gmrs licence and I was getting very frustrated until I watched and paid attention to your video. Us old dogs can learn new tricks.🤣
I followed your instructions on how to apply for your GMRS license. Great job on the tutorial. Now I have applied for my license! Thank You for the step by step instructions 👍🏻
DUDE, After accidentally creating three different FRN numbers I finally stumbled across your video. You made it easy. Was getting upset with the whole mess. Thanks so much!
I’m a very long time CB user. Just bought my first GMRS radio so I have a lot to learn about using repeaters. Just bought my license and waiting on getting my call sign.
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, I click for payment options and it takes me back to the “home” page either 3 purple boxes to log in and nothing about paying the fee 🤦🏻♂️
It is because of this video I not have a gmrs license. Appreciate it man, keep up the hard work. Would love to see more content on gmrs stuff.... repeaters, nodes, builds! All of it
Great video, I was able to use it to walk me through the FCC website, I tried to do this on my own… got frustrated… and I went to RU-vid and you had the first video that was helpful in actually walking me through the process.
Hi, today 07/01/2023. I followed your info and paid my GMRS license. Thanks a lot for your guidance :) Good video helps me a lot. Just waiting for fcc now:) have a good one :)
I found it very helpful and appreciated the pauses so I could wrap my mind around the process. I felt confident enough to apply following this video. Thank you SO much
Thanks so much for this video, there is no way I would have been able to navigate that awesome gov website. All signed up and waiting for the email. Thanks again brother.
Outstanding step by step instructions. Some small things have changed with regards to logging in since you posted this video but I got though it w/o any issues. Thank you!
It has been a year since you put up this video, and only a few things have changed. One good change is the $35 fee. Without this video it could have taken hours. Thanks for making this easy.
Thanks! Good video on getting this done. The FCC site changed just slightly but it was still easy to figure it out and get a license application turned in and paid for.
Very well done! Easy to follow. Just submitted my application. This is the first video of yours that I have seen, and will be back to watch more. Keep up the good work!
Awesome Assistance.. Thank You!!! Note: the payment page is a bit different, I used my email as login, went to payment options in upper right corner...
Thank you so much for actually saying they email it to you after no other fucking tutorial, said that so I’ve been trying to fucking find this shit on my account for the last 3 fucking hours
Hey Man I just wanted to say thanks very much, this video was very detailed and walked me through exaclty what i needed to do. I was having alot of trouble with the application process before this video happened upon me. So... Thanks Alex!
Hi Alex, I enjoyed the content very much. I registered as well. My only negative comment is that the audio levels were too low. Other than that, Great... Terry
Awesome you made the process go by so much faster and easier just to follow. They updated the page a little bit but it's still the same as your video. But one question why was your 70 bucks and mine was 35 did they just lower the fees? Or did I click the wrong one
Hey man I appreciate the video and it helped a lot with getting my application sent off and paying the fees. Just one question.... how do you set up a call sign?
It asks me: 1) CORES FRN Registration or 2) Restricted Use FRN Registration (Restricted Use FRNs can only be used for reporting individuals on Form 323 and Form 323-E.) Which one do I need to select for private use?
Thanks for this video. I followed it on Friday or Saturday night, had my emailed license Tuesday morning (I have a HAM radio Technician license. Not sure if that expedited anything.) The FCC site is confusing and behaves poorly. Connecting my HAM ID to my new application was tricky, and once I had paid, my new application just disappeared from the site. But a few days later I have my license so something worked.
Thank you so much. I just bought these and thought they were walkie talkies. I might as well get the license though, even though it's still $70 right now and supposed to go to $35. 👍 What's a "repeater" do? It sounds like it repeats the signal, but im new to this.
