Every Walmart I Applied too won’t pick up there phones😭. I’ve tried so many times. Not giving up but like it’s stressful because they have so many positions for the job I want open but idk
Yea it really stressed me out too ..try calling in the morning more because I found that it kinda gives me more of a chance to speak to someone rather than calling in the afternoon
Hello idk if youll see this but i applied to walmart about 2 weeks ago and ive been calling them to speak to the hiring manager about the status of my application and id never get an answer until this past friday and she had told me that she would call me later because she was busy with orientation but never did so should I call again this upcoming monday or wait a while my bad this is so long
If I were u, I would definitely call again and let them know that u spoke to her and she said that she would call you back because she was busy with orientation.. it’s always good to stay on top of it.. and I don’t mind the long message lol
Yeah I got the job but that manager and everyone was so rude like they talking to me like I’m crazy I had to leave because I know how I am so I just dipped and then they was playing with my hours how the hell I work and then when I get paid my check came out to 200 dollars y’all gmfu

im 15 bout to be 16 is it likely that i can get hired i've applied at fast food places called them all never got hired mainly cause that's where everyone in my town gets there first job, but i show a good amount of effort, call every few days i don't hear back so they know i'm serious but just curios if walmart will be a different hiring experience
Yes that’s there age requirement and they don’t care about how much experience u have because a lot of people first job was at Walmart. Jus make sure u fill out an application and have a resume with the application online. And if u never had a job, then create an academic resume and include all your volunteer work so that they can see your doing something. And jus keep calling to check on your application status. And once u get your interview, make sure u let them know about your good effort Nd persuade them to give u that hiring chance. Remember always call mainly in the morning and ask for the hiring manager.
That would be soo messed up if they don’t hire u jus because your tall !😂😂 but no your good jus make sure your dressed well and have a clear mind fit your reponse wen they ask a question. And SMILE. Don’t look too crazy tho...you got this !!!
@@bigmac4890 yea I kept calling like I probably stopped for like a day or 2 but I continue to call Nd check on my status... make sure u ask for the HR manager tho because sometimes they try to answer for them Nd u don’t want that
Hay sorry about the late reply but yes u should call them in the morning because usually the store is a bit slower in the morning rather than 12pm where it stays busy until closing
they schedule u around your school hours so u would come if after school and depending on when you get out and dealing with homework and stuff, you may get 8hours. I know u can on weekends. And the minimum pay is $11.
I never knew there were certain ages. Maybe because ur might not be in Florida. Because I was 18-19 when I got into apparel and it really isn’t anything a 17 year old isn’t capable of doing.
I just called the number and an automated message answered and told me to state my name and number if it was regarding an application status and that’s what I did
@@cyclingcourier. oh ok it sounds like a stocking associate from what you say the duties are... but no usually when we begin training after completing the computer task, they have someone to show u wat to do like a department manager. They wouldn’t leave u all alone so ur good lol don’t be nervous

@@bigmac4890 wen u applied, did u select more than one location or did u select jus one? Because u have the option to choose more than one place on the application.. if not then u gotta log back in Nd try it
@@AlejandroRodriguez-je2ku well I don’t think so because I had a friend and she was still in school...I jus think they need your school schedule so that wen they create your work schedule they create it so that u could do both
@@aijah4715 well if it’s a school day they would mostly schedule u a half shift but I mean if u get put of school early enough I believe they would be able to.. but u gotta make time for homework too it could be challenging.. I tried handling college with my first job. After class I was scheduled to come in and stay til close. I never got the chance to go home and rest a lil. So just be mindful of how u want your schedule to be.
