Yacht jobs for beginners do exist, but you need to really hustle if you want to give yourself the best chance of securing one. A few courses, a badly written CV, and a one-way ticket to the South of France is no longer enough. This is a professional industry, and you’re going to need to do a lot more than that to secure your first yacht job.
Finding out how to work on a super yacht is the easy bit. The next and most important step is to get to work on implementing the ideas that I’m sharing with you. It’s not something for which you can just take a 5-day course; it’s not just a case of showing up and hoping for the best. Instead, it’s a continuous process of developing yourself, of putting in the time and effort every day to be able to offer more value to a prospective employer. This is how you’re going to get noticed, and this is how you’re going to secure yourself work on a yacht.
