Hey Jen and Yvonne, yet another super helpful video! 💪 And, of course: Thanks for the praise! Indeed, we accompany our clients throughout their entire home buying journey: Our advisors are happy to assist with everything from finding your German dream home, to securing your optimal mortgage, to signing the final contract with the bank. 🏡 One further tip for your community: Contact a mortgage advisor BEFORE you have a specific property in mind. This way, you can determine your maximum affordability in advance, gather necessary documents and even get a financing certificate that proves your purchasing power to real estate brokers, so that your purchase can be made as quickly and smoothly as possible. 🤓

Hey guys! I am super thankful for your videos! Thank you for sharing all the tips and your positivity with us. I am moving to Germany in 6 months, and appreciate your effort in helping people like me to navigate through all the different processes :) I have watched about 1 or 2 year span of the videos you make in a week, and noticed kind of a German accent from Jen in this one (at about 0:11) :) Hope that doesn't sound offensive (surely did not intend it to be any kind of pun).

I'm a little late tonight, because of the Queen Elizabeth's processing in Edinburgh. In all my mourning and following events these days, I find this video so well structured and so well explained! I think the Kreditkonditinen Anfragen vs. Kredit Anfragen that you talked about is very important, maybe even the life-saving small difference that you point out! Oh, and yes, Bulgarian language is full of German words - Kredit, the same meaning, the same use. Thank you for summarizing and talking about all diverse ways to get a Kredit in Germany, hence I hope it would not be the first thing I would need to do... not for the first two years very much hopefully! But I really don't know, I mean I have some idea but not the whole picture of my will-be finances once landed in Germany, so some of these tips will stay in the back of my head (and hopefully only there). You ask about our Kredit.. things and all? Well, I got into a bit of a headache with a loan, about 6 years ago and it was because of an expensive present for a woman. Yes, she was happy, but it turned out I could have done a similar present with much less spending, let alone going into a Kredit. 😂 Everything's been fine since then, I just learned not to clap, set and go to the first offer I ever see 😉 Just what you say very clearly! So there are situations in life where you'd be ok with signing up for a loan, others where you can just waaaiit a little few months and avoid that, but you have to cleverly make the difference. My country has a problem with loans, there are phantom companies and all that stuff, but on the other hand banks are very strict. And I like strict 🤣😅

Hey, thanks for your video, thus I tried with Auxmoney and they rejected me. I am working in IT in the probation time in Munich, have my blue card appointment in March 2023, and needed some funds to get a bigger flat to bring my family and avoid waiting 1 year to save that money(3 Monate Kaution, Erste Miete, Möbel, etc). Have no other suggested loan providers? Thanks in advanced

I've never taken a loan in my life (unlike most people around me because this country has caught the American Disease 😑) but good to know that if a series of events happens the way I want, I might theoretically be able to get a mortgage.

A side note about income. If your money does not come from Germany then you get automatically denied. That's been our experience this far... Granted our money comes from USA instead of turkey or so we have faced walls going every direction here. No chances to buy a home or finance a car, everything gets turned down. So guy keep that in mind and if you want something nice then prep to save for a few years before hoping you have enough to buy anything here

If you don’t pay and ignore the payment requests it can definitely impact your Schufa score. The best way to solve it is to pay and ask the Rundfunkbeitrag to remove the note they did to Schufa. Hope that helps 😊

Is there a secured credit card here like in America? I know secured credit cards is the easiest to get if you have a 0 credit score and helps you build credit
@simplegermany
@simplegermany Год назад
Not sure what you mean with secured credit card? Revolving credit cards which charge an exorbitant interest if you don’t pay them at the end of the month exist as well, yes. We did a video on that: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pTQjNjUPj1U.html
@MrKevin920
@MrKevin920 Год назад
@@simplegermany a secured card is when you want let's say a $1000 credit limit. You would then pay the credit card company $1000 as collateral. The credit card works like a normal credit card it just now secured because if you don't pay, they can take from the $1000 you gave them.
@simplegermany
@simplegermany Год назад
Sounds like a prepaid credit card to me. You have to put money on it before you can use it. Never heard of the secured version before.

I've been here for four years now. I asked about a credit of only 1000€, which is the mininum my bank offered, just out of curiosity, but I was told it wasn't possible. I am Italian, have never had any debt in my life, I have a credit card and a savings account and yet I have no possibility of getting a loan anywhere. My boyfriend is hundreds of euros in debt every month and he gets approved for whatever he wants. I don't understand it at all and I am very salty about it, but well.

@lena421
@lena421 Год назад
@@simplegermany I had tried somewhere else before, but I was also rejected because I had a Befristet work contract at the time. Which is something that was not mentioned in the video, but also important to keep in mind
@cg6511
@cg6511 Год назад
@@lena421 If you "only" have a tempoary employment it is always difficult to get a loan, even if you are German. There's plenty of work environments that only offer temporary employments, like in the entertainment industry and you are always being treated like an alien, even by government employment agencies who should know better. Anways, if you don't need a long distance loan, my best bet would be to get a credit card that is some kind of flexible like Barclays or whatever.

We can't advise you on that. Your chances are higher for a loan, if the duration of it does not exceed your work contract or residence permit.
