How to get a Scandinavian Style- The question I get the most! Today I give you 7 tips on how to get a scandi style and I've created a list of basics that are a must for a Scandi closet! Would you be so kind as to describe or define what Scandinavian style actually is?? I have watched and loved a lot of your videos, but am confused as to what makes Scandinavian style different from any other country or region currently, that is participating in modern, as opposed to cultural or ethnic based fashion.

Of course! :) I can see that it might be a bit tricky since I definitely agree it is similar to just any minimalistic style. But I would say, combine the words simplicity, minimalism, functionality , sustainability and go for good quality fabrics, combine with beautiful simple details and accessories- it's casual and stylish at the same time and goes from what you wear to your home and to how you think :) You don't need a big closet to dress stylish and you don't need a lot of things around you :)

this is very much the instagram version of "scandi style", I hardly ever see people in blazers in Finland. Finns have a protestant/lutheran culture were you don't want to stand out too much or boast with you possessions, so in general we dress very plainly and practically. When you still want to show that you have the money, you go buy your boring grey scarf from Acne instead of H&M.
