That’s not where the oil consumption comes from my dude. That’s just a PCV. If your catch can had a lot of oil you just have a lot of blow by which is not good either. Regardless oil consumption in this motor comes from valve seals and piston rings not your PCV.
@DGWhipZ
@DGWhipZ 3 года назад
You’re correct, i thought I mentioned piston rings in this video but this is one of my first videos so I probably either didn’t know or forgot. The only way to fully fix is to do a rebuild.

@shitfax
@shitfax 3 года назад
You can also mention that you should KEEP ALL THE PASTICS/RUBBERS. The dipshit who had my G before me ran a power wire for subs under(instead of through) where the wire harness bundles together before it goes into the firewall and made it so the whole thing didnt seat right. To make things worse I will NEVER know what happened to the battery compartment cover. So, those two things combined causes puddles to form at the passenger seat floorboard in car washes, when its just parked in the rain, the smallest amount of water. But, I digress... It not so much an easy fix, but at least it not fatal to the car in general...So far..
@DGWhipZ

I’d still be careful with that tho there’s a chance water could get on the ecu, it sucks when people who had the car before you don’t really know what they are doing and mess things up that should be simple

Flush out your Power steering fluid, brake fluid and differential fluid. If you have the X model then also do the transfer case and front diff fluid. Most of the parts like suspension, steering ,axles driveshaft and others can be checked for wear to see if it needs replacement. And buy high quality parts or Nissan parts.
