As I've heard said by some really successful people, you have to not only have something you aspire towards, but something you're running from to reach your goals. That mindset shift you discussed here of not only thinking of yourself and what you want, but running away from that horror state for yourself AND others is a major key. You're videos never fail to impress. Great work as always Vincent!
This was super inspiring and when you think about it mostly commonsensical. It’s the irony that it’s the small things we do now that decipher the rest of our lives. The ones who get ahead of the general population are aware of this and it’s consistency, resilience and common sense that I believe is the key. Great video!
Yes and no lol. If it makes you acquire more knowledge to make money or improve your life, it's worth it. Most social media is pretty much completely trash like the app that shows you 15 second videos and makes you more ADHD over time
@Hoài Lê Trọng actually there’s probably 1000’s of videos of people telling you how they get rich. For them. It’s not a secret. Consistency, time management, and self control. Also providing a valuable service or product to a group of people that need/want service or product. That’s it’s.
Im trying this and i feel struggling bc im also taking care of my mom who needs attention medically. Not everyone able to just focus on monk mode… 🥺 but i hope i can chg my mindset & habit to juggle these things 😭
Can you make a video of how to succeed in life starting at zero, someone who doesn't have debt or no possessions? let's say for someone who's homeless and has nothing at all, to somebody who is just living paycheck to paycheck, in a third-world country living in poverty, and a realistic expectation of when they can be called successful that can get to the top 10% of the wealthiest people. I know this is a hard video to cover and needs a ton of research, I have never once seen a video idea like this one and I think it'll be appreciated for its realism.
Please, do this - instead of asking the question WHY?, ask yourself - WHAT FOR? You did this already in the video, but things need to be more explicit than this - change your mentality from reason- to goal-oriented thinking.
My “horror state” happened to me. I still feel like I’m living in it but a few months ago I lost a lot of money. Couldn’t afford rent or eat. I was eating crustables for lunch. Long story short I got into a big depression the past 2 years. I experienced a traumatic event and my mind and body is in freeze mode. I dream about working in an amazing place and having my own business one day because I am so tired of struggling and I know that I deserve more

Well you just nailed it, staying motivated on my path has been hell because I have been selfishly motivated. I think it's time to do some deep thinking work to figure what I'm really wanting.
Mentor once told me you need the perfect mix of feeling inferior and superior about your current situation at the same time. Only then will you have the drive you need to achieve what you want.
I love this video, Vincent! I've been a supporter for 2 years now and I can say that your content has improved significantly, and this speaks more personal now. Thank you so much for your content. I appreciate it. Keep it up, man! I'm sure your parents are already proud of you!!
I really enjoyed this video. 😊👍 And I have a small question: what is the mouse that you are using? It looks really good/interesting and I'm looking into buying a new one. Would love to know. If you read this. Anyway thanks for your great videos! 😊
I do not need motivation I need principles. They call it heuristic or strategy or routine I call it principles tied to my ego and what I believe. For example, I believe in action I believe action cures all. I believe energy move mountain( so get more sleep do some gym and focus deeply to output more than anybody like 2 or 4 people by yourself ). Basically, think and act like a winner. And that's it. You can enter religion in one day.. Why not enter the religion of your own success today. Why not become a zealot of your success and impact today. Like right now be faithful like a crusader to your faith every day. People like that can endure will joy because they are real believers.
My vision was to be able to work at any place I want to pass time with family, travel arround the country and have no ties with an specific place and a few years later not have to worry about work for a living and just work because I enjoy it, so in this way I can get my parents to live with the best and if I get a family to not have to worry about money!.
1) when I am able to not leave the house, and can just go to the basement and let the ADHD and tools make something random and fun then I'll have achieved the dream state. I might still leave the house... It just can't be a requirement. 2) already got a taste of my own personal hell... And that is what brought me from "yeah, we aren'taking progress but it's not a bad life" to "holy crap we were totally blindsighted by a major issue that can happen again and we need to be ready next time". Granted preparing for the unexpected is... Well... Impossible really. But it is difficult to imagine anything worse than what we went through (short of someone actually dying), so the experience sets the benchmark for what we need to prep for. 3) Monk mode... This bit I'm not sure on. ADHD is a mixed bag in that my default state is marching to the beat of my own drum, and not really being into what is popular (it's a trip when my interests align with pop culture lol). But at the same time, I'm naturally flighty and aloof, and it is just as hard to get myself to focus on something long term as it is for people to get me to focus on something I'm not already interested in lol. But I can hyper-focus on a topic, and that is generally good for a few months before interest wains. So I guess my Monk mode is to hyper focus on something, set up things to make it as automatic as possible, and then feel free to move on to the next obsession. The real trick is revisiting investment strategies every few months to make sure that it still makes sense. Point is, long term daily habits may not be in the cards for me. So removing the dependancy on the faulty part of the process (myself) is key to success. Set it, forget it, move on, revisit. And part of my success in this strategy was my wife's suggestion of having a dedicated fun money allowance. Seems silly having an allowance, but it is a set monthly amount, and ya either use it or loose it. This appeals to my inner bargain hunter, so I spend most of what free time I have finding deals to maximize my fun money for the month, spend it guilt free, and as I can't go over it prevents me from detailing the finances, while also not requiring me to stick to a routine. May not work for everyone, but it's good for us.
