Ahh, I loved hearing about your experience! I went to school in NYC and was working there before the pandemic hit :) My school was in the Times Square area so I know it well. The Intern Group sounds like a nice organization to help you find a job! It's nice that you did a marketing internship for the experience :) It's cool that you got to live in both Brooklyn and Manhattan! Totally agree that there are so many fun activities for free! Dumbo, Brooklyn is one of my favorite spots! I still have to make it out to a beach. I love that some of the businesses don't start work until 9:30-10! The trip to Philly sounded like fun too! I would definitely be interested in hearing more about your time here! xx

omg i wish you were in nyc the same time I was in NYC!!! Whenever you are back in new york city definitely let me know!! I would definitely be so frustrated with the visa process too. My friends have complained about it too and it's really hard to find companies that will sponsor you! UNLIMITED SUBWAY PASSES ARE THE BEST!! It's what I currently use because I like getting around via subway!!

Hey! I’m thinking about applying for an internship through the intern group as well! I was wondering if you get paid for your intern work while you’re out there? Or is it unpaid work? Thank you for this video, it was super super helpful :)

Hi! I didn't get paid for mine and I think most fellow interns didn't either. But there are some internships that do offer some money :)
