I knew a kid at my old job who can solve a rubicks cube in under 10 seconds. He was also ranked top 100 in Starcraft 2 in the world. There are some really smart and talented people out there.
I was maybe 12 my brother a bit older. He had one of these and became extremely frustrated with it and gave it to me. I took it in my room and brought it out finished about 30 mins later. For years he thought I solved it. It was a knock off cube so using my blow dryer I was able to reposition the stickers. I'm 52 and I can still see his face! Great job btw!!
Is that why he didn’t have to turn the yellow to the bottom to finish? Please excuse my ignorance, I can do beginner method no problem (not that fast) but I don’t know much beyond that.
@Jeff P basically OLL is when you Orient the Last Layer where yellow is facing up, PLL is when you move the yellow pieces around, he just skipped needing to move around peices with is what I'm guessing is you turning the cube upside down, to move the corners or edges
I remember the Rubix Cube.... drove my crazy . I figured out how to take apart and put it together as a solved puzzle. today I a mechanic skilled in many trades.... that thing was so dn aggravating. there is always more than 1 way to solve a puzzle. Break it down and rebuild it ,LOL

The time is wrong because in actually cube comps. You get something called inspection time, and the time started when he got the cube back and not in his first move.
This isn’t nearly as hard as a normal Rubin cube, it has less rows and combinations my friend from camp could do this type in under a minute too, I’m not hating- huge props to this kid
