Yeah, I actually thought it was freaking impossible back then to get a full combo on a 25. But my first Full combo 25 was Romeo, and I got it 3 months ago. Practice really makes perfect. It's been a year since I watched this video but it seems finishing a full combo on a 26 or 27 is still too difficult for me

@@MistSGM my first 26 lvl full combo was on into the night by pastel palettes (its a cover) If you want you can try to challenge it xD And good luck! I still cant finish any lvl 27 song and I reallllllly want 5th badge I am currently just trying to clear all lvl 26 songs

@@akina-otoge I personally always flick upwards anyway since I play with thumbs and it’s easier that way for me (I can full combo 27 and below, 28 and 29’s are hard for me rn) :0

@@Lavendernewy yeah they say to flick up and the icon points up, but any direction works. I think because up is easiest for thumbs players

yes this also works and can help with learning this combo! although i dont recommend this way because on higher difficulties the finger/thumb on the tap note usually has more notes coming very fast and performing an unnecessary flick could throw off the rhythm or make it difficult to hit the incoming note. just depends on how fast you can reset from a flick

@@ThanhLe-ju4nq I recommend using rehearsal mode as a way to practice those certain songs you’re stuck on

Yeah i also got stuck at the jump from 25 to 26. 26lvl songs differ greatly in how hard they are. Keep at it , if you struggle to read the patterns try increase or decrease your note speed. Good luck !

i actually just ajusted my speed rn, i made it even faster and now my eyes feels like vomitting and i still need to adjust, but i can definitely see some improvements like how my reaction speed suddenly rushed up

Don't pay much attention to the letter grade in bang dream, it's based on your band members levels/skills , so you can all perfect full combo and still get C grade

if you mean continuous single note with the same finger/thumb, practice the song Sorairo Days the intro and outro has a good pattern for learning single note tapping. if you mean just single notes like drum rolls/ streams/ bursts, you need to be able to read the pattern quickly and be consistent at tapping bpm, Unstoppable RAS is a good song for this

It get very hard for thumbs at higher levels i play with index fingers.

I had a lot of trouble with tap flick combo at first, i just focused all my attention on the flick and treated the tap as a hold note, eventually i got comfortable tapping and flicking at the same time. Just gotta keep practicing that one

11 speed is crazy haha, im at 10.9 and the difference is too much for me. but yeah i came from osu and other rhythm games too. which lvl28 out of interest? the only 28 ive fc is 劣等上等, ive gotten close on amanojaku and paradisus paradoxum

Dont overpush yourself! I’d recommend taking time,slowly learning the new difficulties! I started playing rhythm games this year too(january i think) For flick notes,try flicking sideways,this always helps me:)

I started month ago and I just starting playing hard mode bc to be challenging for me after weeks i was getting comfortable so I had to push my limits lvl 19-21 songs and then after a month I wanted to play expert so Currently i can pass lvl 25 expert and some 26 expert songs my goal is to clear 25 and 26 expert songs so my advice is to take ur time! And just enjoy the game

Try practice songs you can do very well on, then aim for really good accuracy.

Try to clear all songs below lvl20, if you can then try to full combo all of them. Also find the lvl where you can just clear but its difficult, maybe ex lvl20 or hard lvl20+ and try those songs too

Same! Especially those really compressed ones, I can never get them right and end up messing up all the notes after it 😂

The biggest factor for me to go from a couple of misses to fc 27s was changing my note speed from 10.8 to 10.9, maybe try moving your note speed up by 0.1

@@akina-otoge the note speed didn’t help much, but I did just fc the full version of Egao sing-a-song, which is technically a level 27, but to me it’s just an extended level 26 song

@@pinklemoonade6992 just have to put in the time to practice i think, play all the 27s and 28s (if you can clear them) . 2-3 miss/good isnt bad at all though

i recommend practicing 「ブリキノダンス」RAS on Expert, it has a good drum pattern, also basically every afterglow song XD

@@akina-otoge istg afterglow songs are going to be the death of me LMAOAKAO but I do use them most as a practice, theyre incredibly hard but I manage and even fc some of them :D! for example lost ones weeping😩☝️

yeah unfortunately mostly you just need to play a lot, i went through this struggle with my first rhythm game "osu!" , try focus on playing songs you can clear but are still difficult for you. then slowly work your way up from there. sort the songs by difficulty and try the lowest level hard songs, if they are too hard try the highest level normal songs. good luck~

PASSIONATE ANTHEM is a tricky one, try practicing the hold - tap tap tap pattern that occurs during the start and end. Its one of my favourite songs in the game and definetly a goal i worked towards. Good Luck ~~

@@akina-otoge an update: I've been sleeping for this song for forever. I never touched this song for three straight years, way before I made this comment. But I saw my improvement immediately when I hopped to rehearsals, because I've done the "double tap double tap tap" sequence in the beginning of PASSIONATE ANTHEM ALMOST PERFECTLY. The hold-tap tap tap sequence were difficult but I managed to adapt immediately. The really difficult parts were the fast double Hold-flicks before the chorus. Mind you, the last time I played this song on Expert mode, I was struggling on 25 and 26 songs were impossible for me. And that was two years ago. Now, I can full combo 26s and easily full combo 25s. I actually was surprised at myself because of how much I've improved through out those years.

Oneness EX is tough at first until you get comfortable with bursts/drum rolls into tap flick.

try using 9.7 or 9.8, your ideal note speed is one you can comfortably read and follow with your fingers, so try different speeds between 9.5 & 10, and always remember to adjust the speed if you start out performing it. i.e. feels to slow

Yeah miiro is tough, i usually miss the very last note pattern slide flick. Im working through the 28s too, currently trying to fc hey day カプリチオ

roselia songs require good speed and stamina, so try and build up those skills , good luck

the judgement line (when you need to hit the notes) seems to be a little further up the screen on d4dj compared to bang dream, so try hitting notes a little later, or try adjusting your offset settings in the menu.

Yep im fine with the entire song until the tap+flick into double tap combo. I just cant do that section, i cant get my flick finger to tap in time

Maybe you play on the English server, RAS is being added 11th June, the Japan server is 1 year ahead so we have had RAS for almost 1 year now

If you can do fire bird and song i am, i recommend trying mind of prominence or passionate anthem, good luck 👍

@@akina-otoge Hey im back now! I can play lots of 28 now, the easier one is amanojaku, rettou jotou, firebird full. I can play other 28 except sensenfukoku. ringing bloom, sometimes I can pass it. And for roku chounen expert I can pass it once, special not yet. And ofc the new setsuna trip is imposibble

switch to ipad if possible lol, thats a problem i had, big thumbs small phone, ipad + fingers is much better

sort the songs by difficulty level, and set a goal to clear the highest level normal songs and lowest level hard songs. good luck

If you are getting frustrated maybe take a break, some days you will just play bad or worse than usual. Dont force yourself to play songs that you struggle on during these times. Good luck~

She is from the band "RAISE A SUILEN" who are currently only on the Japanese version, they will come to the English version later this year i think.

Turn on the setting that shows fast/slow greats, then if you are getting almost all greats in 1 type (fast or slow) you might need to adjust your offset slightly to compensate. If your greats are evenly spread between fast and slow keep practicing and try changing your note speed so you can comfortably read the patterns.
