🗣🎮 NOTICE for CONSOLE users: 🔽How to lower the steering wheel rotation angle in the absence of Logitech G Hub 🔽 STEP 1: Go to the "Controls" settings, select the wheel, and select "Edit Device". STEP 2: From this page select "Steer Left" go to "Deadzone and Saturation" and lower the saturation to 45-50%, this will give you 400 to 450 degrees of rotation like in the video. Also, do this to the "Steer Right" setting as well. STEP 3: Go to the "Vibration" tab and crank the "Soft Lock" all the way up.

Yes learning from mistakes is a good learning techinique. But I like a more technical aproach where I can always make it to the end of the track so I can fully analize it everytime.

I noticed "Wheel center force" actually also steers the wheel back straight before overspinning, so it basically is like steering assist, not in a way of steering for you to the given directions, but rather steers the wheel back straight when you drift through the corner. For me its like that and it bothered me so I turned it off, I am not sure how it is for others though

That's interesting... "Steering Center Force" should only rotate the wheels straight after resetting or when waiting at the start line. "Self Aligning Torque" should be responsible for returning the wheel straight when cornering or drifting. Try setting this to 0 with the "Steering Center Force" turned ON and set it at 100 to fully check this problem. But I will also look into it.

Really like the video, but I am playing this game on PlayStation 5 ( I got it like 4 days ago ) and I don’t have the option to use Logitech g hub so what would be the easiest in-game solution? I have all assists turned on ( because I have never done really before ) and do you have recommendations for any settings to change for me, I am a causal player and want a more enjoyable experience and not have to turn my wheel all the way to the right or left to get past a tight turn, I am using the same wheel as you and I have shifting, clutch and co-driver calls set to simple, any recommendations?

Thank you for tuning in! So instead of using Logitech G Hub because it's not an option on consoles, go to the "Controls" settings, select the wheel, and select "Edit Device". From this page select "Steer Left" go to "Deadzone and Saturation" and lower the saturation to 45-50%, this will give you 400 to 450 degrees of rotation like in my video. Also, do this to the "Steer Right" setting as well. Then do the same for the "Cluch", lower it to 50% so you are less likely to miss gears because of not pressing the clutch all the way down. And one last thing here, go to the "Vibration" tab and crank the "Soft Lock" all the way up. After you get used to the game a little bit more, put the "Co-Driver Call Type" to "Normal" as they give you a much more detailed insight about the track ahead. 😁

if u set your wheel to 900 degrees in logitech, and calibrate it, and then leave soft lock on in the game, wont the game just change your steering wheel degrees to the appropriate cars real degrees of rotation?

No. The game doesn't have separate rotation angles for each individual car. If you leave the wheel at 900 in G HUB and calibrate it at a lower degree in WRC, the soft lock setting will block the wheel from rotating more than the degrees at which it is calibrated. But personally, I don't like the effect of the soft lock from WRC. So I rather lower the wheel from G HUB, calibrate it at that given rotation, leave the soft lock off, and rely only on the wheel blocking mechanism that G HUB induces when you reach the steering lock, which is much stronger and feels more soft to me.

I don’t know your content creation cycle but pace notes (for me) are very hard to understand, what he numbers mean and all the other stuff that comes with this, you did a good job of briefly breaking it down but as you said it needs a separate video just for pace notes 😊. It takes some time to script, film and put all the things together, and I'm tring to make videos for both WRC and Cities Skylines 2 because I have so many ideas of what to talk about each game, so I can't really have a fixed schedule when I post the videos. Play Richard Burns Rally and this game is super easy afterwards. Absolutely amazing and love the length of rallies. EA actually made a good game. Not without its flaws of course.

Haha! I also enjoy the game, in many aspects it is very good. Of course they have more work to do to make it perfect, but I know they'll do it at some point.

Queste impostazioni sono compatibili anche con le trazioni posteriore? Io guido bene wrc e super 1600/2000, ma le posteriori sterzano lente e poi di colpo, mandandomi in testacoda.

I can see 3 possible reasons for this: 1: The "Tire friction" is set to high for high grip stages (asphalt) and you cannot counteract the oversteer effect. 2: You are applying too much throttle on corner exits. With RWD cars cornering should be approached with more caution. 3: The "LDS Driving Lock" differential is set too high. Try to open the rear differential a little bit by sliding the bar to the left because fully locked diffs on RWD cars are mostly found on drift cars.

Does anyone maybe knows how to change rotation angle on G29 on my PS5 ? In options there is option to change this option, but its unaviable to change it.

That setting cannot be changed. That bar only tells you the rotation angle at which the wheel is calibrated. Try to lower the steering saturation for both left and right to 50, and then recalibrate the device.

I would say that these settings will work just fine. But if you feel like something is too much, try 30-35 Tyre Friction and 110-120 Tyre Slip

Yeah they made this game way too realistic. It’s almost like you’re in a simulator. Just out of interest has anyone had any success on this game whatsoever?

In which game mode are you referring, and what does success mean to you in this game?

@@noxnovaYT any mode, it doesn’t matter what mode you play. As for success, we’ll just being able to go faster than 50 and stay on the track I will take that. This game is no fun whatsoever. It’s way too realistic. It’s made for serious drivers and is more like a simulator.

@@dublin1468 Well yeah I agree, it very much like a simulator which is the way it should be. If you want a more arcade experience you can try Forza Horizon 5 with the Rally Adventure DLC. 😁
