I noticed "Wheel center force" actually also steers the wheel back straight before overspinning, so it basically is like steering assist, not in a way of steering for you to the given directions, but rather steers the wheel back straight when you drift through the corner. For me its like that and it bothered me so I turned it off, I am not sure how it is for others though
That's interesting... "Steering Center Force" should only rotate the wheels straight after resetting or when waiting at the start line. "Self Aligning Torque" should be responsible for returning the wheel straight when cornering or drifting. Try setting this to 0 with the "Steering Center Force" turned ON and set it at 100 to fully check this problem. But I will also look into it.

After the PDX Mods update the state of the game was so devastated and I just couldn't play it anymore. I fired up the game last week and finally, it was in a better state and they fixed TAA, so maybe as you say, some day I will restart this series. 😅
Nice Setup, thanks! With some personal minor adjustments I'm getting times in the top 5% of the leaderboard playing with KEYBOARD. Not sure how impressive it is but I'm happy. Keep up your great work!!
Well done! That's what I want to hear! 💪 Playing on the keyboard is thought, your inputs are always 100%, so steering and throttle is hard to control. But I've also been there most of my life, I only got a steering wheel 3 years ago.😁
Awesome!!!, haven’t played this title in a long time, plugged this tune in and it felt like I never stopped. So smooth, great traction out of corners, very predictable. Subscribed looking forward to trying other set ups.
@@noxnovaYT that's how it seems for me. I hope they "finish" the game for VR and make it so it's at least on par with dirt rally 2... I will not buy it otherwise. And EA has a trackrecord of abandoning their games without fixing so we'll see.
@@valley6636 Just get into Controls, select the device and on the second tab set it as a handbrake. Then on the first tab, only bind the Handbrake by pulling towards you and you will see some axis being registered (I can't recall now which one it is, I'm away from the PC) and you're done.
Well, it's the 7th fastest time on the GLOBAL leaderboard, so it's still a world record. According to Wikipedia "World Record" doesn't necessarily mean the best or the fastest. 😁👌
