Good point David. If I may add, do some video also. My Children are in their 30s and 40s. And have children of their own. When we get together they don’t drag out all of my pictures and talk about how great I am. No, they want to drag out all the home movies from their child hood that look like crap. But, they enjoy them much better than my photography from the same period. So, I’ve started doing video clips of family events. Inserting my photos in the video.
Sounds good, David! Hey, there is a free New Year's Eve thing in downtown Chattanooga near the Aquarium starting at 8. Two live bands, one I'm not familiar with and the other I'm pretty fond of. It might make for a good evening of photography. Heather and I may go.
Thank you for that. I appreciate it so much. Yes, there is enough tutorials and gear chat for everyone, I will still do lens reviews from time to time but I am not about buying the latest camera or lens to be able to review it on launch day. I just am not interested in that. Now let's get our cameras out and go take some photos!
I need this green shawl!!! I’m obsessed!!! I typically use my xt-2 and a Viltrox 23mm 1.4 for family stuff. It’s about one of the cheapest combos that you can get!!!
Good points! And Merry Christmas to you and the family!! I'm still laughing at the Fire Trucks going by...lol...Thanks for saying Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays!!
Merry Christmas David! Good points, I’m always deciding between the Z50 and Z7 to take. Higher quality or convenience. It’s not a Georgia Photographer video without an interruption! Haha.
I love my TTartisan 17mm f1.4 on my Leica CL for indoors stuff. It is basically the perfect focal length indoors. This lens produces wonderful image output too for the costs involved as well. I got mine used for super cheap and love it.
