helloooo!!!
here are my thoughts and advice on how to get closer to God! getting close to God and growing your relationship with Him can get hard sometimes, BUT I hope these tips really helped you guys!!

1. Read your bible every single day. 2. Worship on your own. 3. Acknowledge his presence in your everyday life. 4. Heart posture of gratitude. 5. Talk to God like a friend. 6. Song-write with God. 7. Be still in the chaos. 8. Go to church. 9. Write letters to him. 10. Have a “quiet time” with Jesus.

I would love to go to church every sunday buuuut my dad doesn't even know that I'm christian. It's kind of negative or a tabu to be religious in Sweden, where I'm from, and that makes it so much harder to get accepted by atheists. This video was amazing and I will definitely start writing letters to God! xx

Wow thats so awesome that you are pursuing God in such a deep intimate way! So extremely proud of you Bianca and God is so so proud of who you are and how hungry you are for Him! Praying for breakthrough in your family and in your culture! I hope writing letters to God helps you my friend! You are so strong and you are absolutely filled with WONDER!

So helpful! I needed some more tips. I'm wpndering if you could give some advice. I have been fighting loneliness lately. I've been pressing into Him, and I feel Him there right in the middle of it. I just have this want to have someone physically there, a physical friend, someone I can see. Not that it is all that I need, but I'm trying to not think about it too much or I get depressed. I just graduated high school and all of my friends changed to some degree. I had to cut it off with one and the rest just kind of fell away quickly after that. I'm a social person and love to be around and do things with people. But now that my friends are gone and I'm involved in no new circles of people, I'm feeling pretty isolated. I don't like going to do fun things by myself. Or seeing something funny and instinctly want share it with a friend but can't. I don't really know how to deal with it except push it from my mind and dig into Jesus and my busy schedule. But when I'm not busy and want to have community, it's hard. That was long so sorry about that...

Alyssa Morgan I can help you with this I to have struggled with the spirit of loneliness, I’m 27 I have no friends and my family are people that only like 10% of people around and the rest to be alone. I on the other hand is someone who likes people around and need my space only once in a while. When I find something amazing that the Lord shows me or tells me, I just want to share it with others but can’t because they don’t care to hear I have no one who understands me on this earth, I want physical attention as well but the truth is that’s just flesh wanting want it wants remember we are to live in spirit and walk in spirit because God is spirit and only works in spirit Flesh things are only flesh but spiritual things of God is forever, the only thing you and I can do is keep our eyes on Jesus when ever that loneliness tries to prevail we have to fight it with the Love and peace of Jesus. We need to tell Jesus how we feel and ask him to take that empty feeling from us and fill it with his Love and peace, ask him to comfort you, share all your physical needs to God everytime it comes upon you and eventually that feeling will go away and You will began to only want The Lord and soon nothing else will matter but him and you’ll only worry about his needs and wants and start forgetting yours. Perhaps the Lord is teaching us how to be alone with him and that’s a beautiful thing for the Lord to Just want us to himself what a beautiful blessing. Keep your head up continue to read pray go to church talk to Jesus and keep your eyes on him. Rebuke the spirit of loneliness and don’t let loneliness prevail JESUS has ALREADY overcome the Spirit of loneliness on his JOURNEY UP GOLGOTHA as he kept his eyes on the cross and God turned his face away from his only son. Jesus knows our every pain and every feeling he’s felt it and still does when we are hurting. Remember he loves you and continue to cast your cares to him because he cares about you.

Thank you so much for making this video. I truly needed this. I have been feeling like I have no one to talk to, but knew deep down that God was there. Now, I know how to grow closer to Him and have a new found motivation for Him. Thank you again. Please keep making RU-vid videos for the Lord.

This is beautiful and I believe you nailed every line, it is important to go to church I get a lot of people who say they don’t have to go to church but it is very important, because first off it’s the Lords house and why not bring him to his home, and sec off there are others that understand you and it’s peaceful and encouraging to help you continue on with the Lord, the same spirit in you is in them and worship and prayer is stonger
