PEOPLE, STOP LIKING THIS VIDEO, THE GUY USED "CLICK-BAIT" IN THE TITLE BECAUSE THIS IS *NOT DOOM* -- DISLIKE THIS VIDEO PLEASE, SO IT DOESN'T GET SUGGESTED TO OTHER PEOPLE ALSO WASTING THEIR TIME.
@CalculatorGuy2001 are you going to code it yourself? (It means porting a 8088 code to eZ80) - which is impossible because doom run on a 33mhz 80386 (minimum requr'd specs)
I won't be doing any porting, but I will be coding the game from scratch using Toolchain C library for the CE. It will have action and levels. I obviously can't clone the game exactly how it is, but I will include all the most important features.
Dear Chief Dylan Programming, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your incredible video tutorial on how to get Doom running on the TI 84 Plus CE. Your tutorial was an absolute lifesaver for me, and I can't thank you enough for sharing your knowledge and expertise. Your clear and concise instructions made what seemed like a daunting task so much more manageable. Not only did I successfully install Doom on my calculator, but I also gained a deeper understanding of programming in the process. Your dedication to creating educational content that helps enthusiasts like me is truly commendable. I appreciate your hard work and the positive impact you've had on my learning journey. Thank you once again for being a source of inspiration and guidance in the world of programming. Warm regards, Library Chair
this is great. also, can you show us how to port game controls to the calculator? or do you just need to remake the game from scratch? the game i'm trying to get is ROBOTRON 2084
Make sure the cable is inserted properly on both ends and make sure the calculator is turned on. You can try unplugging the cable on both ends and plugging it back in. Also, this only works for the TI-84 Plus CE specifically
