Let's face it, a farming venture needs land and this video gives insight on how to potentially get Farming Land for Free so you can kick start a farming business.
My uncle just bought me a farm , I’m so excited for this journey so I searched on RU-vid and I come across your channel so happy I found you ❤.wish me luck 😅
It is such a blessing that I came across your video. Not being able to farm because I cannot afford land had made me come close to giving up, but you have inspired! You have spoken such true word! Where there is a will, there is a way!
Great insights Sinakelo! Continue leveling up. I recently connected a friend whose starting her honey production to a work colleague who owns a farm in the West Rand. Mind you my colleague farms green produce, livestock and game. He agreed to give her access to his farm and assist her with contacts of his own to start off her honey production. This goes to show that collaboration is also key for us to advance as the current black wealth creators. Lesson to learn: you don't have to go at it alone. Collaborate were possible until you can venture out on your own. Honestly loving this content!
You are awesome! And you're telling the truth. We grew up with large backyards and my mother made sure to show us how to garden. Our neighbors had gardens and I'm from the southern US. The youth in South Africa are the future & we are watching you guys and you are showing up & showing out!
Damn girl, I love your energy and positivity - and while I obviously can't benefit from all your local info, you have most certainly inspired me in other ways. Thank you - and keep shining!
Hi Sinakekelo Like you positive video. Did you know that the government has up to now bought over 1.3 million hectares of commercial land. The problem is they are willing to give land to upcoming farmers but don’t support the farmers. I agree 100% that the youth is extremely capable and I really think if we can explain farming in SA things can get better for South Africans. We live in a great country and with positive youngsters like you we have a great future.
The way you structure your videos, and order them to tackle different milestones, topics and problems, shows that you give serious thought to farming. I love this! You're gonna grow massively, and I'm all for it. Behind you and this channel all the way! Keep doing what you're doing girl. 👏🏾
Thank you Sinakekelo, Keep up the good work. Yes farming is the way to go for most of us because of the coming food shortages and the growing tribulation. May South Africa awaken along with the rest of Africa. Nkosi sikelel' iAfrica!
I like it when you being realistic and mention the issue of hunger hence a fact that we would have to make money out of it. Yes that's all that accompanies passion, satisfaction. Farming is one type of source of income or business that will never run out of market. Food is no fashion, it doesn't come and go. Shout out to you. I would be happy to meet you face to face one day I believe you are a future security..lol
I am from Europe and i have wanted to relocate to SA for the purpose to do agriculture and your video (other videos) was a big push and encouragement to me ❤ may i meet you there one day ❤ God is good
please don’t. Allow the disadvantaged locals the opportunity to have land Ad grow. Stay in your country please. White farmers being killed, don’t put yourself in that situation.
I'm watching in 2022, thank you for this, this was informative. Now after a went to a traditional council my biggest problem will be i don't have money for crops because i want to start with them. What can i do?
Thank you young Lady. May God bless you abundantly for giving us the information. Thats what we need to do . Together we are strong, let us support each other instead of waiting it all for yourself. Keep up the good work my dear.
I came back to like, subscribe and thank you Sis after I downloaded this video and watch it on my spare time. I am proud to say u r really smart, u dsv respect
Hi Sinakelo, I'm a pensioner I bought land from my Chief here in Bushbuckridge Mpumalanga Province. I'm buying it my son's but they don't like working on it. I'm planting dry lands seeds, like Amadumbe, groundnuts, peunats because I don't have finance to bore water and this discourages my son's. How can you assist me to get finance for boring water or to take water from nearby mountains which is 4km from my farm. Last time I made qoatations they wanted hundred thousand rands for both pipes and Labour. Please I have a plan to assist youth with jobs including my own sons.
A start of what you need to establish your own farm. Started at our back yard during COVID and when my process of acquiring land was about to work, government claimed back their old damaged greenhouse gas that they had offered. Girl is back on zero. Please share some tips
First of all siyabonga sesiwam, Thanks for this insightful video on acquiring farming land. I'm considering getting land from traditional leaders, and I'm wondering if you have any information on whether these areas typically have access to electricity and water. Also, I'm exploring the idea of setting up something like a server farm for additional income. Do you think these locations would be suitable for such a venture? Any advice on the infrastructure aspect would be greatly appreciated! Keep up the great work! 🌱💡
Hei Calvin honestly it all depends on the location and the agreement you had with induna that placed you. Some communities don't have limitations whilst others do. So this definitely could be your homework to find what you want but realistically you can just settle with whatever you get and build from there on.
I'm so glade I found this channel. I want to start a farm but have no idea how to do it in South Africa. But I want my farm to be just big enough to support myself and the local community where the farm is situated. Also as a white person who is a hobbit that doesn't socialise enough I want to help and not harm, so advice on how to do a farm the right way and not in a way that hurts, I would really appreciate it.
Big tracts or backyard farming should be looked at as a long term view. Its not a get rich fast business. It requires many traits that can be trained. Its the hard work, the climate and the divine intervention of the heavens. Then markets will tell you were yr crop rank. The output you produce, the agent or choice of selling the crop will determine the cheque value.
Awesome. Can any SA citizen get this land, or must you be Black African only, my ancestors on my Dad's side were from Tsolo. I applied through land claims for land in Tsolo, Stutterheim, where my Mom was born, but I was rejected. Coloured people don't have chiefs. How do we get this land?
Go to your local municipality and ask to know the traditional councillor of your area and how to reach him/her. It's just general info the public must know, nothing offensive
Hi I am very happy to watch this video it's inspired me I am having a piece of land and it kills me with rates and taxes I want to start using it but I don't have money to start
Just start with buying 1 packet of seeds. They sell seeds in builders, checkers etc I think R20 a pack if not less . start small by yourself and see how you go and then grow slowly. ❤all the best!!
Pls tell me how do you start from 0 like do you have to go to agricultural school/college to be able to farm or can i learn from other people in the field and start my own
Hei Tumi...You don't need agri college, u just need to invest in yourself, acquiring knowledge and resources, learning from others, accepting guidance and you'll be good to go. In farming You learn by doing
@@baf.sinakekelo call me Murida and I am a woman who is extremely proud of another woman who is being such a positive role model to other woman and the young of South Africa who I know have the potential to make this a thriving country. Keep it up!! Have a fantastic festive season.. I look forward to following your farming trials and tribulations.
@@nunewsmama3461very sorry for referring you as 'sir' 😅. very inspiring words . thank you so much for the love, the appreciation n support. I really can't put it into proper words. I'll try keep the flag flying. All the best on ur festivity 🙏
Yazi i was als talking to my uncle asking about this and how it done he said i just ned R400 bhodlela nekesilabhiya am just waiting to get some money 2 start farming im loving it shm
@@baf.sinakekelo The fact that your uncle understands the importance of generational wealth, big ups to him! Can I get in contact with you & your friend ? Currently looking for hectares of land too
That's true honey...own personal space is the way to go- backyard indigenous Chickens &rabbits is what I am doing bae. Big things with little things you can do!😘😍
Agriculture has a huge potential off creating jobs for the youth but our government is failing the youth. Right now in Soweto their projects which are happening on school yards
I am looking for 75,000ha of agricultural land, please advise as foreign investors are waiting to lease and invest to the communities that own the land. treat as urgent
This is a whole different type of level which I cannot assist with. There is a department of Agriculture that solely deals with this type of issue. However it gets really tricky when foreign investors are involved and sir that is ALOT of land.
You can’t get free land as a foreigner in SA. And most rural land sits under tribal land ownership so only Black South Africans with tribal links to those lands can access it. Only way for you as a foreigner to get land or even lease it is buy it from non tribal rural land and that is super expensive as the RU-vidr here explained.
Do you think it is possible for foreigners to acquire farm land? My husband and I are retired(not that old though lol) we want to move to Africa with 2 of our children and homestead. SA seem like a wonderful place to do that. Do you think it to be possible? I will be visiting SA for a month this summer. I wonder if I should look around.🤔
Non nationals can purchase such property following the laid protocols. However Farm land is costly this side. So be prepared on the pocket and Goodluck on ur quest to finding a homestead
@@baf.sinakekelo thank you for the glimmer of hope. I've left similar questions on other SA RU-vid channels and I got a "you can't do it" answer with a "we don't want you African Americans here" vibe to it. Which is a bit hurtful seeing seeing so many other nations here seemingly doing whatever they want. We live in America but it's the land of our captivity. Many of us don't want to go to our graves in this place. We wanna be home. We wanna be on the soil that the Most HIGH YAH gave to us HIS people. So thank you again for the glimmer of hope. May the MOST HIGH bless you as you walk in his will. Shalom.
@Sarahyah shebrew. Greetings to you beloved. First of all, African Americans are NOT FOREIGNERS in this land of Africa. What some on the continent are not aware of is that, so called Xenophobia in our country is fuelled by our enemies to prevent us re-uniting, especially with you AAs because prophecy will be fullfilled and they don't want that. The thing is, The Most High is not going to allow us on the continent to build this land without YOU our brothers and sisters whom HE scattered to the four corners of the world and is now gathering back. I'm a South African lady in my fifties. Not a guru in anything but we can definitely work something out. I don't think you need to pay high prices for farming land. If you haven't found someone to work with, you can just let me know. I'm not promising anything, I'm just saying we can speak to some people together and see what happens. And of course pray about it, try to study the new people you meet on the continent before you throw yourself into anything. Lastly, don't you ever feel unwelcome here, this is your home too. Blessings
@@Dimpho111 this is our last day of sukkot here in California. I ask THE MOST HIGH to reveal something, anything but just to speak to us this day and LOOK WHAT HE DID. HE sent you with Beautiful words of encouragement. THANK YOU SISTER. I've been saying what you're saying. We need you and you need us! Because our abba is planning a family reunion. Oooooweee. Your message is an answer to a prayer. (FATHER if SA is for us then show us but if not then show us. Nevertheless not our will but YOUR will be done.) HalleluYAH! Praise the mighty FATHER! I'm also in my fifties. I would love to touch base with you on a more personal level if that's ok. Let me know and I will send you my contact info. Thank you for your response. May the MOST HIGH BLESS AND KEEP YOU DAUGHTER OF ZION! SHALOM.
I don't think growing cannibas is restricted in certain geographical areas of the country . You just need lots of capital, training and the required licenses to grow. So yes u can
Thanks for this useful info. I had to go outside of SA to find land to farm on. Kindly share your telephone contact details so we can be in touch to inorder to consult on related issues. Thanks
renting or leasing land could be your best option right now hence you cannot afford to buy land. You need to search for private land owners who are willing to lease/rent land to you with your limited budget. With Proper price negotiations you can get affordable rates, this is me being honest.
