Hey Jeff should’ve touched base on portable Crusher like SampleCrusher.com Fantastic machines that run on battery off and angle Grover m grinder, you can bring them to old mine dumps or your claims to test spots! I love mine, even shot a couple of videos, crushing high grade ore on my channel! Definitely something that will make your life a lot easier! Great video

Yeah i know its 3yrd old, but im going to say this about using a pestle and morter tk cruah rock, dont. Its a dumbarse idea unless you literally have nothing else. You can make what is essentially a morter and pestle with two pipes amd end caps on each, while using ablnger lengthbof pipe for the dynamic end so you can even using from a standing position without putting your hands or other bits in danger. Or you can the same thing while alao attaching a drill, and turning it into a grinder. If you know your stuff, you can firther the design amd turn that into an impact grinder. It just depends on what's available to you, but if you can engineer something,byou might as well gor wirh rhe flail crusher using chains and a 1/3 HP motor like what you (jeff) showed in another video.

Hello Jeff I’m new to watching the channel and have recently developed the Midas Touch. Seems I’m good at finding big ol rocks with gold in them. I can pan down the powder to the pickable gold but what about the really fine gold how to you get it separated from the rest of the fine sands? I just can’t seem to pan it apart after several attempts. Secondly I been reading a lot about acid, does it work well with eating the quartz powder and just leave behind the very fine yeller stuff? I am a green horn but learning very fast. I’ll take any tips you have time to offer thanks. Ok I’ll stop typing here before I turn this keyboard to gold. would invest in a Gold Hog Multi sluice ....will capture down to -100 mesh...... after that you smelt out the Gold from what is left over and use a collector metal like lead then cupel that out

Hey Jeff, great video as always my friend. I'd be happy spending all day crushin stuff in the impact mill, yeeeee-ha! Mind you, I would suggest putting a guard over the rotating shaft of that mill, you get a shirt sleeve or piece of loose clothing caught in that you are in for a nasty ride, ouch! Tell Joanne she needs to get or make one of them things. Hope to see you soon, still waiting for your private jet to come and pick me up!

Sure do make some fine powder out of those rocks,in keeping the dust down in the bucket could you put a foam rubber plug where outlet pipe pierces thru.Sure would like trying one of those rock crushers on a pile of quarts rock i've collected .Love your videos with You and Slim -You guys are a hoot. Careful with that cap and ball, you might shoot Slim's eye out or something,,,, Also I noticed you put the barrel on your arm when you shot it..... Good way to set your clothes on fire or blow a nice hole in your arm.... I used to be a gun collector and fast draw artist, when I was younger and those things can be as dangerous as all get out.... We don't want you hurt....

Maybe use a small vacuum that's attached to the inlet. You throw the rock in the hole and than quickly plug it with vacuum hose. It will suck the dust particles to prevent clogging I think.
