Pve helicopter seems to work really well for me yeah some matches take up to two hrs but in the 5 matches I’ve had I’ve made around 130k rp and roughly 700k sl profit it’s not bad and really relaxing. I will continue this till I get the ka 52.

I'm relatively confident in controlling my choppers though I'm an average pilot at best I suspect. One thing I just haven't mastered is stopping forward momentum quickly and most soecificly to land. I've seen others seemingly just come to a stop and softly land like it's nothing.
Also you mention RB ground but heli are also good in sim where they spawn immediately with any weapon load and good pilots (I'm not one of those lol) are devastating
Good idea! Sadly I have to admit you are half right. Sometimes it lasts forever due to other players quitting or fewer players in the match. I am trying to build something on my discord to have good helicopter grinding sessions. Coordination is something we can benefit from altogether. @@Nostadad thx, just tried assault acarde, 3 matches btw; Once got 5k RP in 20 minutes and twice 200 RP in like 10 min each. Ig helicopters are just meant to be pay to win. Who doesnt GE the whole tree simply will never get access to the top helis
@@Nostadad I mean the grind is just way too long. I have the alouette since helis came out and got a talisman from a chest for it like 2 years ago. Still only have researched the UH-1D in the German tree yet
i think getting a premium tier6 tank and playing alot of real ground. you can use tank grinding to grind choppers. works for me. A109 is a fun 'hover car' if you like going 260km/h on the ground! (watch out for shrubs and bumps!)
19k rp for a 1.22 hour game WITH BOOSTERS??? thats insanely low compared to the time you spend ingame in EC. If you get that amount per game it would take more than 28 hours of grinding to unlock a SINGLE top tier heli. And thats with boosters so without it will take around 40 hours, thats just unacceptable.
You forgot the funniest and calmest option Option #5 : The Anti Cas Action Step 1 : take an helicopter that either have a gun that can "track" (a gun turret doesn't always track like on the Japanese helicopters) or have AAM Step 2 : Spawn at the beginning of the match with said helicopter, take the most AAM you can take, and fill the rest with rockets. Step 3 : Rush on the enemy first helipad (the closest to the battlefield) you can either take a long turn around the battlefield or a straight line, but it's very dangerous that way (around is recommended), the AAA of the pad will be shooting you but deal 0 damage Step 4 : Hover at a low altitude (~15m above the ground) around the helipads, no need to move a lot. If possible, hover just above one of the aaa gun, it won't shoot at you and will reduce the hit sounds you'll hear, they get quickly annoying. Step 5 : Wait for an heli to spawn, then wait 2-3 seconds after take off, or 5-6 second after it spawn so it lose invincibility Step 6 : Shoot it down. Step 7 : Profit $$$ Additional Tips: If you have AAM and a good zoom/thermal, find the direction of the enemy plane air spawn (ping it on the map, you'll see a blinking marker in the battlefield which can help you locate the air spawn) and remember the angle, the spawn point will likely be around 7-8 km from you, so doesn't look too high, planes spawn around 2km above the ground, so an angle of roughly 8°. Check it from time to time using the ATGM view, if a plane spawn you can send him a light craving rod. If you'll use a lot the ATGM view (see point above), I'll recommend opening the cockpit of the helicopter, you'll hear way better if an heli spawn with its engine. If around the end of the match no heli spawned and the enemy team start to get low on player, leave the helipad and try to get one or two kill with rockets on the battlefield. Just so you know, getting 1 heli in the whole match without dying gave me more RP and SL than trying to get kill with rockets at the start of the match, the time you stay alive is more RP and SL. I already got a match where i got 2 planes and 7 helicopters using the HAD, gave me around 18k RP and 120k SL with premium time.
After months later. Prem account and tech tree helos. Im grinding the Mi-35 (180k rp left) on the USSR side and on the US side i need 130k rp for the Longbow Apache.
Thank you, but fook it. Started month ago, spent around 2K $. But didn’t waste my lifetime. Bought mi24, apache and ka52. Can’t waste 20-30 hours of life to ride a virtual machine. Same goes for tanks, bought premium top-tiers and enjoying life.
Is it normal for the 3rd person camera to be offset to the side (in this case to the left of the heli) Is there an actual option/settings to shift the 3rd person camera?
yes sir! it is a new feature from the last major update. Go to settings --> Helicopter Battle Settings --> 3rd person cinematic camera --> turn to yes. Enjoy 😎

@@Nostadad idk I was just in there and the premium boost still seems to have the full affect it says is does. Don’t think they reduce the talisman effectiveness wouldn’t make sense. Plus they don’t announce that if so
bought UHT by skipping 2 helis for 900k exp for free using gold purchased for money on market place (sold 3 vehicles from events) this is the best free way...
the only way I can get any helicopter is by going up the tech tree to at least rank 5. The game does not give me any other way to get one. Am I doing something wrong?
@Nostadad it's unbalanced. A Alouette for example will be pitted against KA50. I don't think i need to explain how that's one sided. You can buy premium & get a fighting chance against them but if one just gets a helicopter there going to have it rough. Thank fully it's not as bad as it was. Competing for kills/points against a for example a KA50 is hard for new helicopter players. Plus weapon ranges for low tier helicopters systems is far lower then high tier. Often, players will arrive at engagements to find nothing left. Helicopters are extremely useful, though in realistic mode. I find it they flourish there. I can see a rush for helicopters as feasible if there going for realistic mode. But helicopter only battles I wouldn't rush for. A good guide for sure not underming it, but a cautionary warning not absolutely run for helicopters.
@@Nostadad but I think that even if it only worked for half the match which i got 18k from I should have at least gotten like 36k or so extra cause 9k + 400% = 36k, which would have been nice for my mi 24v
Option 2 is great for starter Heli (iirc 9.0 above you get Roland as AA it's still great if you have ATGM that have range more than 6 km) Option 3 is good but you rarely win the match because the tickets drain so fast and if you lose the match you earn basically nothing also assault ground arcade aren't like they used to (idk problem with teammate or bots are getting better killing you) trust me I grind from T95E1 all the way to M1A1 (before swap with IPM1) last year only in assault ground arcade
