JuicedMoose watch fouads videos. He shows you what to eat, how to mix it up and more. I would never pay someone to tell me what to eat when the internet has this information!
Eric Sanchez awesome advice! Your the second person to tell me that. Stuck the basics, and I will grow. Thanks for the advice, I will definitely take this to heart.
This is the best video on carb cycling. no gimmickery , no trying too hard, no odd camera angles, just SOLID useful , precise , practical info that makes sense, Thank You!
I've dropped from 320lbs to 250lbs doing Keto but I've gotten to an absolute miserable state lmao. I feel at that low level for a long time. This video has really opened my eyes on how to regulate my carb cycling. Thanks Fouad, you're the best 💯 Edit: it’s 2021 and I’ve gotten well past the 100lb mark and I feel a lot better following Fouad’s advice. 💯💯💯💯
Keto works only for a shorter time, doesn't help you in the long run. FAD diets are always a nice marketing tool for the fitness industry. Carb cycling or low carbs do work.
@@timas2791 I only started focusing on my YT channel in February. I think the channel has grown significantly in under a year and as long as I stay focused it will continue to grow. That being said, thank you for your kind words, I hope to hit a million subscribers one day.
This is exactly what I needed - proven meal intake info from a professional. No BS, just real talk and explained very well. Making adjustments on my meals now. Thank you Hoss!!!
The best explained video for people who start with bodybuilding and nutrition. In this way it is clear that with bulking your carbohydrates should not always be high as most people think. Keep it up I'm a fan 🇧🇪
Good stuff. I will definitely implement this. I do it wrong when I bulk... keep upping the carbs until I spill over. First couple weeks I'm filling out daily, then it goes south and I start looking softer over time and eventually get off the bulk. This is more intelligent bulking. I've always thought that the dieting a bodybuilder does before shows plays to their favor over time as they are constantly keeping the body guessing vs just bulking all the time which forces you to do so much cardio to keep the six pack.
You're probably still insulin resistant to some degree, so carb cycling would likely work well for you. Better insulin sensitivity means everything from better workouts and better energy levels to better recovery. Some guys can slam 500+ grams a day, day in/day out, while the rest of us have to moderate if we want to be at our best. Carb cycling is the way to go for we guys who are fat boys, genetically.
Once again Fouad Abiad brings his no nonsense approach to the masses. Content is delivered in a cogent manner all the while staying relevant to training principles utilized by the pros. Thank you sir for your insight and generous contribution to us mere mortals.
Seriously Fouad, this is some of the best free information Ive ever Seen on you tube from a BB its like gold for "normal ppl" to get this good knowledge , thanks champ your the man , keep makeing this good videos! 👍👍👍
We all heard about carb cycling, and i know it works, but i did not know the how. thank you Fouad for this class. all the best wishes and you are the best. love your channel
Straight on to the point..! No bullshit You’ll have a million subs soon, trust me. Stay same🥳 The best channel for all the info i need and it’s free. Thanks mate.
Fouad you're a legend. I've been wanting to get back into shape and healthier overall for some time now. I got demotivated and lazy and have spent a considerable amount of time wasted trying to research ways of creating a diet, trying to stick to it ,giving up and trying again over and over but in the last few days of watching your informative videos and lessons i've learned more than i have in years quite honestly. I now have a clearer understanding of where to begin again and i'm truly grateful. Would like to see more content like this if possible, Cheers!
I'm no bodybuilder I'm a shoot wrestler and arm wrestler. Nobody ever explained carb cycling better , but who else is going to know this shit better then a bodybuilder.
This is extremely helpful and provides lots of knowledge, bro. May I know if you have a good measurement to use to know how much carbs to take based on your body weight?
just a little added information here - "Spilling over" does not necessarily mean carbs go to fat . your body has the ability to store glucose in extra cellular water retention under the skin and around the organs. you 'spill over' and the glucose is getting held in a film of water retention .. the film of water you hold when carbing up too much for a show is glucose spilling over and being held in water stores, , not necessarily carbs suddenly turning to fat
Obviously the explanation I'm giving is for the avg listener and its very simplistic. The end result of eating too many carbs is they end up being stored as fat. Thats the important information I think people should know.
@@FouadAbiad yep and excellent information for sure .. just thought i'd add some extra insight for some of your more advanced listeners that may compete
This channel is slowly evolving into the same quality of content as John Meadows. By far the two best “bodybuilding” content on RU-vid. Between these informational videos, the podcasts with guests, and the hysterical ones with Luke, this channel has it all.
you have no idea how precious and needed information you have provided us.. I am. really a big Big fan of you sir.. I really admire the way you teach us and your teaching are gonna help a lot of aspirants across the world.. respect for you big man. 🙏 🙏
25f/90c/30p (from complete sources only) meal, 6x/day, 2xPB&J sandwiches, 1 glass chocolate whole milk, every single day... sometimes I feel like "eating" is my full time job, HAHAHA!
Quick question: I'm slightly familiar with this analysis on carb cycling, but wanted to know your thoughts on those that go the extra step of ensuring that 50-75% (or a significant portion) of their carb intake is around the time of day for their weight training session. For example, I carb cycle but ensure that almost all of my carb intake is immediately before and after I go to the gym, which helps me stay really lean while keeping my carb sensitivity in check.
If you workout early in the morning, let’s say 6am, how would you go about doing this? Would you plan to have the majority of your carbs right before bed and after the workout?
@@mikes.8087 Hey Mike. I believe some people who train do this (eat before bed and after waking up the next morning, complete a training session), but I don't at all. First of all, I'm healthy and am a weightlifter, but am average: a lot of carbs for someone of my stature (6 foot even 205 pounds when bulking, 185-190 when lean, 190-200 regular) is around 150-200 carbs per day. When I'm bulking I'll just eat about 1 cup of oatmeal before working out at 6:00 a.m. (54 grams of carbs) another cup after working out (another 54 grams of carbs) and about 50-75 grams of carbs before noon (I try not to consume carbs after 12; I am carb sensitive so this regimen works well for me). Moral of the story - run an experiment on yourself based on what you come across and study, analyze the results, and keep it going.
the best explanation ever , i hate spilling over so i gotta cut and do it over again , its annoying having boulders and a gut sticking out after a while , thank you very much Fouad
Aws Salih you can if you want. You could do 200g high, 100g med, 0g low with your program. The numbers aren’t relevant. It was just a way to explain the system
I swear in the last 7 months from when you started really dropping content I've learned more than in the last 8 years and all the mistakes I've made.....Really all I can say is a resounding thank you......And eventually when you do come to the Centre of the Universe (Toronto) for an expo I'll have to say thanks again in person.....bless up my G. 🙏🏾
You are an effortless teacher when it comes to this stuff. You obviously have the work ethic to do it, but also the intelligence to understand why it works. Post career you should definitely look into teaching this stuff in college. There's a skill to teaching and you have it
Thanks for always going above and beyond and all these tips and tricks... you probably can’t imagine how many of us u help and inspire to be the best we could be 💯
I have learned more from your vlogs and podcasts than anywhere else. The fact you also reply back shows you are genuine. Can’t wait to try the supplements and please, keep the videos coming !
I have literally spent months looking for a scientific answer and not just someone telling me to "Stop eating Fatty Foods". Thanks for the good reliable content, helping all sorts of guys and gals understand how our body works to stay healthy, or gain muscle.
I genuinely appreciate this. Thank you. I’m a bigish man (240-250, but I was 340). I’ve been following for a while and I haven’t been able to understand this sort of thing in this much detail but videos like these have been helping tremendously! Thanks again!
Now i know what carb cycling is... Thank you Abhiad, ive seen the term thrown around but no one explaining it... til you. Im sorry about your friend luke sandoe i looked up to him. Im a former bodybuilder of 4 years, gonna get back into it soon. Have a good 1!
I learn so much from you in this video and all your videos than all other guys videos I've been following for 10yrs. Made so much sense. Thankyou bro 💯🙏
I live in the suburbs of Michigan so close to windsor, Canada. My dream would be to meet you and train once with you at the gym. Your videos are so informative, educational, and easily applicable. You have a way of teaching that makes it so easy to understand for the average gym goer. Thanks for the hard work, it shows in your craft!
Thanks Fouad, you really know how to explain shit where I understand it. I’ve read, listened, watched all types of different sources but you are the one that puts it in English! Keep up the videos and I’ll keep watching them👍🏼
What a great video and explanation in easy terms to understand. Everyone should watch this.....I started carb cycling about 8 months ago and it has done my body really well vs restrictive dieting (same numbers for days even weeks). The timing of what to eat and when is such a critical part of the process that people don’t understand that. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Brah this video is money. Been carb cycling forever but never knew why and I eyeballed it. Now I know to work with the fats as well. Thanks for this great content
Fouad you literally broke it down perfectly and easy for everyone to understand Carb cycling is IMPERATIVE for those who are carb sensitive. Even if you ate clean carbs daily the spillover will result in fat gain and that "puffy" look. I'm carb sensitive so I don't have any medium days, just low and high. Either 5 low and 2 high or 3 low 1 high and repeat. What's your routine?
Didn’t realize I’ve kinda been doing this. Some days I’ll load up on carbs (before leg day) and other days try to tone it down. The way you explained it though makes way more sense. I feel like this is highkey a game changer. People always say you can’t be lean and eat carbs. Bullshit. Appreciate you bruva 💯💯💯
Found the channel like 2 weeks ago and I’m hooked brother. Great lessons and good camera presence. Makes the videos very informative and entertaining to watch.
I subscribed a couple weeks ago and have been absorbing all of the knowledge you have. You have a very straight forward but humble approach to your knowledge. While others tend to almost act as if they are better than us just starting. You seem to want to help people progress. Big thanks and props to what you do man and please keep doing what you b do.
Fouad...thank you thank you sir very much! Folks the man is taking his time to give us free info to us! I do wish you already had a millions subs!! I think have been carb loading to much.Your meals look awesome man!! Thank you again for all you are doing for us!
