In 2019, Bar High was ranked as the 18th best bar globally, and its head bartender, Kaori Kurakami, emerged victorious in the esteemed Diageo World Class Japan Finals, widely regarded as Japan's preeminent bartending contest.
While Bar High Five can be challenging to enter, the staff is exceptionally hospitable once you're in. You're welcome to stay all night as long as you're drinking, and the lack of a menu means that the bartenders can craft bespoke cocktails to your tastes.
