I've been to Sloppy Joe's in Key West. I wasn't old enough to drink when I was there, so I don't know if it was still on the menu. At least the sandwiches were great! Fun fact, when they moved from their original location to their current location in the 1930's, Ernest Hemingway took one of their old urinals and put it in his garden as a fountain. I actually saw the urinal in the garden of the Hemingway House. Both are well worth the visit if you're in Key West.
Bruce and company, you knocked it out of the park with the history, especially like it due to the locale as Havana, Cuba. Will try this. Hemingway's House & cats in Key West is worth the visit! Going to go back & watch your ep.38 Hemingway Special & ep.67 Cuban Getaway.
Hey Bruce was wondering what kind of citrus squeezer you use or do you have any recommendations on one. last one I got broke within a week so I want to get something that will last a long time. Anyways keep up the great content!
Where do I begin with scotch? Most of the time I enjoy a small sipper neat, as simple as that. Though I do enjoy a Nail or a Rob Roy from time to time. Also, you can't go wrong with a Scotch Sour. It's unlike any whiskey sour you’ve ever tasted. It's smoky, peaty, and irresistible. And, I occasionally make a Blood & Sand for myself. It's light and semi-sweet, balanced with a cherry-forward flavour. In the future, I'll have to experiment and come up with some new modern classics. Cheers!
@@BarTalkCocktails Great, will look this recipes up! - In the summer, I make sometimes a slushy: coffee liqueur, a smokey and peaty Islay whisky (Laphroaig) and mixed with slushed ice in a blender. 😁👍 I call it the "Smoffey Slushy", for "smokey" and "coffee". 😉
Hey fellow subscribers. Don't forget, if we get 50,000 subscribers by the end of March, we get to see Bruce drink Tequila. Now, we just have to work a little harder. I know I want to see this :) Oh, and by the way, Bruce, great video ;)
