ivy leagues accept international students, when i mean accept, if you have everything they're looking for they're gonna accept you no matter where your from, i hope this reassures you 😄
Watching this in 7th grade, and I’m going to come back to this once I get into an Ivy League! This is a reminder to myself that I can achieve anything if I put my mind to it!

Tell me about it. None of these things happened when I was a high school student. I once thought that a person had to be a super genius to get into these colleges.
But back then there was no need for extra curricular activities or internships at research centers or anything more than grades to get in. Now with so many people doing so many things it is so much harder to get into ivy leagues and/or top universities
hello there, i’m a 15 year old guy who is already looking for information about university and stuff, this was a really good video! keep going like this. english is not my first language, but you make yourself understand, thank you for that :)
you know am from Ethiopia and now applying for fall 2025..........for your video I have no words, really it was amazing and I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH....GOOOOOOOOOOODDDD BLESSSSSSSS YOUUUUUUU...really 10000000000000....%PERFECT.
@@ShreyaMishra-mb8on good activities could be a language club such as English, French, or Latin, a history club focused on learning the past efforts of various European countries, any physical activity clubs the such being football, rugby, cricket, badminton. also maybe intellectual games club such as chess, checkers, poker or mahjong. social clubs are also in favour of ivy league universities so try to develop and join one of those. something else they value are the scenarios where you enrol in volunteer jobs as they can decipher your philanthropic merits
I just wanted to say Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. For doing all of this for free. Hope your future be bright as sun. God bless you. ❤️ xoxoxo
Well done, Elise! This is a great presentation and your accomplishments are impressive! If you will listen to your style of speaking with regard to your tone of voice and switch from the upward lilt (rising, questioning tone) in the majority of your phrases to a downward tone, you will sound as confident as your many accomplishments deserve and your presentation will be substantially improved.
The whole of last summer, I had been thinking about how I messed up last year in freshman year. I had a 3.8 unweighted gpa and absolutely no extracurriculars. This video gave me hope that it's not to late and I can improve this year. Thanks for the help!
Elise. God bless you. God llves you so much and God bless you for your help! I just wanted to share a short message with you: Jesus loves you! . All of us have done something wrong in our lives before, you know, like tell a lie, but lying is not just a simple act, it is sin agaisnt not just the person you lied to , but God. We sin against God, because God is Holy. He is pure, and He hates when we do anything even slightly evil. And doing evil separates our life from God's blessing, and we choose the devil's path. You may look even at Hell testimonies of tarot card readers and yogists and Buddhists (a Buddhist man who was told by Buddha to **ll himself went to Hell) did not even believe in Jesus, but when they called upon the Name of Jesus, they were saved. Jesus died on the Cross to save you from your sins, to rescue you from thd pits of Hell destined for us as people who sin. Jesus saves. Just repent of your sin and give your life to Jesus.
@@veronicaguilamoreyesHey Veronica! Thank you very much, do you maybe have an ig or other social media where i can contact you? I have some questions and it would great if you could answer them

Me fr about to apply to ivy league schools even though I did horrendously in high school all because I had a change in mindset lol.... shooting for the stars guys
While I commend you for your success, I do worry that all your social media activity is perpetuating a false idea that the be all and end all of school and life generally is acceptance into “elite”, high status institutions, professions etc. life isn’t all about that
Even though I'm a college sophomore, I found this video incredibly helpful in how I could challenge myself and get the most of out my experience right now. I never really tried in high school. I was average at best (straight B student which is decent), and only skimmed by because I never realized how much it could matter. I really want to keep pushing myself to achieve the best. Ivy league students work so hard and I truly admire that! Thanks for the video :)
Hey Elise ! Quick question, if we have multiple prospects for extracurriculars and you're equally good those(very advanced) , which of the extracurricular should you choose. In my case, I have a musical interest and also i love chess, I'm confused which one do I pick ? Thanks,
i'm 15 and i live in the uk, so i'm planning to go abroad if i get good GCSE and A level results. i'm planning to do 6 A levels, and one AP course is equivalent to 3 A levels, so I'd be around the expectations if i finish the equivalent of 18 AP courses.
I am a university student and have been volunteering in random community services. However, I don't have any certificates or honorary for my volunteering. Do you know how the university will evaluate this? I mean I can say I did these works but how am I supposed to prove it? 🙂 please help if you know.
Hey Miss Pham. I am a high school senior from Sri Lanka, can you give me some advice on how to get into a good university. The application process and essay styles. I do really need this help from you. I’ve been watching your videos for months and the tips you give really helps me a lot. By the way I was doing my local curriculum here and from 12th grade onwards I started doing Edexcel London ALs. Any tips for college based on my situation? Thank you.
Come there Love!! I was thinking about Harvard Grad school due to your videos on studying but I have nephews (12,14), and I’m Using your. Videos to guide them❤
I’m from the Philippines and I’m planning to study in the US for my senior years (G11&12). I’m not really familiar with how the system works there and I think I might be overwhelmed but I really want to create a high academic background, how could I do that? What are the basics and advancements for my senior years?
I just want to say thank you so much for creating this video this definitely helped me and tremendous number of students who are wanting to get accepted in to their dream school 🧡
Can someone give tips for someone who goes to a small school? My school does not have AP and Ivy classes and I have barley any classes that are not your standard classes like art and steam.
Thanks for these valuable infos! But i have a question mark in my head about passion projects. For example, i'll apply for biomedical sciences major. But if my passions are diverse, can i do a passion project about starting and running a business, entrepreneurship? Would this affect my application positively or specifying on a field in ecs is better?
Your ecs don't necessarily have to be specified on your field/major for college, but it can help to show interest and dedication to your major. It's important to have a diverse range of ecs, so make sure you have a good split between ecs for passion and ecs for your major.
Where is the written script, the link takes me to your website and I swear I have every word it it twice (it's a very nice website) and still can't find it?
Dear Elise My name is Anshika, I am currently in 11th grade as of now. I am writing this mail in order to seek your guidance over some important steps that I may take up in future. Till now, it has been a tough journey teaching myself everything from square one by my own and no outside help, but now I have started to lose hope and it’s feels like I am late. However, the flame of strength and wisdom is still burning inside me and I certainly don’t doubt my efforts I will put in with a little guidance, cause all it needs is one big dream. I have already filled out the application you sent but haven’t received a response😢…Kindly help me at your convenience.
what rank would prestigious internships/summer programs be? what about free ones? for example, I am interested in CS, more specifically A.I, Software engineer, or quant/data analyst. And let’s say I get into the Data Scientist Institute Summer Lab at university of Chicago, what tier would you put it at?

Good day mam. I am a grade 11 student in South Africa. I have been searching for information on what to take to increase my chances of getting into Harvard. I take 8 subjects (CAPS south african curriculum- physics(with chemistry), accounting, life sciences, history, pure maths, english home language, afrikaans fist additional language and life orientation). Along with AP maths. Do you think i need to take more rigorous courses on top of these?
I really need help! They dont have ap classes in my school. They have dual enrollenment however im worried that it would take away some of my extracurricular classes 😅 ( I have 7 classes and 3 or more of them are extra curriculars.) Im about to start freshman year in a few days so its too late to sign up for dual enrollenment this year but I can take it next year, however i'll still have those same extracurriculars. What should I do, should I take dual enrollenment next year or not? Also dumb question but if two of your extracurriculars are skateboarding and rollerskating what could I do to show that I am passionate about them and how could I bring it to the highest tier I can?
Hi elise, you're an exemple for all of us. I'm on 8 th grade and I try so hard to enter at an Ivy League school but it's difficult as an belgian student. And I don't have a good english to get into Harvard. Can you make pls a video for international students. Love you so much❤
I have been seeing a lot of your videos from Instagram to RU-vid, I must say I have been saving some of them for S.O.P writing, want to know if there are any specific resources you have or relevant things which might help me boost my SOP drastically? cause I have some shorts saved from you but I am not sure whether this will be also applicable for SOPs. Thanks.
Hey Elise, just wondering if starting a freelance work related to social media marketing that helped creators and small businesses boost their performance could qualify for a passion project for business school admissions process.
Excellent information for the young generation, you make it clear as day knowing exactly what admissions committees are looking for. But Im curious, why is there an influx of popularity around trying to get into an ivy league school? In the post grad world, it is surely evident that hiring managers much prefer an experienced individual with a non prestigious degree over a lacking candidate with an ivy league degree. Experience can be obtained as simply as volunteering for a company your passionate about. All of this you know, but so I - so if the experience outside of the degree is what is more important, than what importance is the location of the degree itself? A Bachelors of Science is still a Bachelors of Science at both schools. Maybe theres something you know I dont? I really am not trying to put you down but genuinely trying to understand? I feel as though I have achieved everything I have wanted and more with my non ivy degree.
no trust me even then if you don't get in during high school you can transfer at community college or another university you are going to if you want. Freshman in high school have so much time just trust me i graduated high school just a month ago. Join extracurriculars, clubs, all that stuff. Take APs and Honors classes if you can too. It's not too late even if you're a sophomore in summer vacation. 3.9 GPA is good too it shouldn't be too hard to raise to a 4.0 with APs. Use the video as a guide, study, focus. You have so much time you don't even know.
Hi Isaac! Do you know that your name is Biblical? The God pf Jacob, Isaac, Abraham loves you more than life itself. Jesus Christ, the Son of God died on the Cross to save you from your sin. You know how we have all sinned right? Like lying (even 1 lie is horrible in God's eyes, because He is perfect). We, unlike the God of the Bible, who does exist, are not perfect. So picture you, with sin, like lying or stealing, eben if it's as small as a pencil, facing a Hoyl God, who separates sin from Himself. We're not going to Heaven. We all want to go to Heavem, but the standard for Heaven is purity. Righteousness, and none of us have kept God's perfect law writte on our CONSCIENCE, the 10 commandments. Sin separates all of us from God into Hell. So the wages of sin is death. But God weapped up the gift of eternal life! The gift is repenting of your sins and believing upon Jesus' death on the Cross This is how He, God will save you!! If you do not bleieve in God, simply ask Him to encounter you, and to shpw Himself as real to you in your life. Ask Him! Ask Him, keep asking Him amd He will come! If you seek God, you WILL find Him.
im going into my freshman year this year, so im so thankful for this video!!!! i’ve always always always wanted to get into an ivy league school. i have so many plans for high school and im super committed to trying to get in. thank you again for this video 💗
Hey! Im going to be a freshman in August and I have this one thought that keeps bothering me. I’m doing this thing in Texas called early college high school. It’s a program that gives you an AA degree when you graduate HS. We don’t have a lot of APs and most of the courses are DC courses through the local community college. I also know that most schools outside of Texas don’t accept too many dual credits. But is it a good thing if I take all the rigorous DC and honors courses since my school doesn’t have too many APs? Thanks for the help🫶
All IM going to say is thank you soo muchhhh!!! U have helped me so much and the effort you put in these videos are amazing. Bless your soul honey!! I love u
Hi Elise! I have a quick question about this guide. I am a high school senior from Canada, interested in completing my undergrad in Canada and eventually completing my master's in America. Is this guide applicable to students interested in Ivy League schools for master's?
