Thanks Mark. I watched your IT Video you made couple of years ago about 10 things considering learning IT. IT is on my list for long time. I am retiring. Is it possible to get started with some very basic stuff and make my life better and probably doing something different. Jim
Hey Mark , I have about a year to go to get my IT degree. Do you think it’s worth getting a Masters in tech in general? Also…….. I’m really interested in coding like web development. Decided to just finish the bachelors to get a lil edge on the competition 🤷🏻♂️. Your thoughts?
It can be worth it, but isn't even close to the only option. I would only do it if you can find an affordable way. Masters degrees are expensive. Other options include just doing certifications, or just online learning for what you are thinking about specializing in. If you already have your IT degree, you can probably find employment in Web Dev if you just have the skills. That being said a Masters can help you in the long run, so if you are feeling like jumping now while you're young that could make sense.
