I'm going to apply next year (a junior in high school), I am an international student from Canada, an 80 here in Canada is counted as an A, I know it is a B in USA. Does JHU and others considerations that factor?
Selective colleges get applications from around the world and most high schools will send high school profiles with students' transcripts; therefore, JHU is very aware of diverse grading scales depending on applicants' countries or high schools. With that said, a 90 or 95 out of 100 is always better than an 80 out of 100, regardless of whether you call the 80 an A or B. Good luck!

If you get a really low score on an AP exam (1) and John Hopkins doesn't even except the course (AP US history) do they see your score and would it affect you? ---really important question
