My name is Lesley Guzman-Nava, I am a first gen college/nursing student. I wanted to create this video to be able to help anyone that needs it. im in the process of doing my prerequisites and im nervous for chemistry and micro as those are the only ones i basically have left. i struggle with my mental health a ton and i feel like it holds me back since i get really bad anxiety from the workload, and it’s only just the prereqs, so i cant even imagine when and if i get into the program. thank you so much for posting these videos as because as a first gen, i really do need all the help i can get!

You got it queen, I know it’s a lot and it can definitely impact our mental health. Take time off and take care of yourself first!! Find your balance and remember you’ve got this far, you can keep going !! We grow as we take each class and we learn and get better everyday ❤️ god bless you, I hope you get everything you pray for.

Hello! I found this video super helpful so thank you! I am currently about to start cc to knock out the rest of my pre-reqs (transferred from a uni to save money) so im wanting to transfer into a BSN program. I heard its super competitive so im a little nervous!

Hey! You mentioned that if you work at Children’s hospital they’ll cover your tuition at Regis, I just seen they’re ending full tuition coverage for some areas of study, do you know if that includes nursing ?🥲

Aw man really ? No I have no idea, some of my friends are going to clinical in children’s starting in January I’ll ask them if they hear anything about it but I feel like nursing would be one of those things they would continue to cover
