I was surprised to not see many comments about curling your lashes after they're dry. So many people advise against it. I have always curled before and after. As you said as long as you're careful it really doesn't do any damage. Or at least for me it doesn't. I loved your tips and your eyes with just the mascara looks great!
my best friend use to have full lashes but her eye lashes fell off when she used the lash curler but i use it and my lash as never fell off but i am some times scared it will
Maria Valdez and if you heat your curler with a hair dryer before curling, the heat helps them stay. but be careful because the metal will be hot! just test touch it first
thanks guys but my eyelashes are very stubborn and even though if i put waterproof they still go down after a few min they only stay up if i recurled them when i havw mascara on which sounds very scary but thats the only way which is very sad

I do this! Minus lash curler but it still works either way. You tightline your eye and you get the appearance of wearing eyeliner on your top lash line! I do this all the time and it makes your makeup look better then just applying eyeliner to your lash line and getting the line to thick! This is perfect! Love this technique 💕
You totally just encouraged me to give mascara another try! I have been solely relying on eyeliner to give my eyes that bright more open look. My only other options that I've been thinking about has been heated eyelash curler & Diy to grow my lashes.
Wow! This tutorial helped me so much. I have completely been doing my eyelashes wrong and I used this technique and lots of people commented on my lashes. These are beautiful and it’s such a great tutorial. I would definitely recommend this video.
So I’ve been wanting to make my lashes look gorgeous, with minimal effort, and by god if this woman’s technique isn’t amazing! I went and bought everything at WALMART for under $13. Came home tried it and was sold. Will be doing this a lot in the future! Thank you so much!

I think the mascara is fab! I have done this method so many times Heidi, but it sometimes clumps up, my lashes go out of control and basically I end up taking the mascara off and starting again. So I am going to buy a similar wand to this one you've just used, and hopefully my lashes can look like yours ! 😃
Tip: if you use your blow dryer and warm up your lash curler not to. hot you don’t want to burn your eye or eye lid, your lashes will last all day looking fantastic....and lastly use a lash comb to separate any stuck together lashes waaala amazing lashes
the cover girl fiber mascara is the best mascara ive ever used it really makes yours lashes look long and full i was asked if i was wearing false lashes when i had it on.
I can definitely see a difference! For me I curl my eyelashes before, put coats of mascara, wait for them to dry & curl them again! stays all day long!
I am definitely going to try your technique. Lashes do SOOOO much for the eye. I have super fine short lashes naturally. Your lashes look great and your skin is FLAWLESS.
My lashes aren’t even that short but they’re straight af. I’ve tried literally everything, waterproof mascara, normal mascara, heating the eyelash curler, curling before and after putting on mascara. Nothing just work and I thought about getting a lash lift but I’m a little sceptical since nothing has worked before.
same here, the only thing ive been doing that sort of works a little longer is letting the mascara dry up a little on the wand before i apply it, and im using a brand of mascara called, san suzi waterproof, or waterproof with natural oils by Apple. they are suuuuper cheap and i get them from mexico. i find that the ones with natural oils even have helped my lashes grow thicker. still dont have a super curl but at least they stay noticeable for longer lol and they dont smudge which i loooove for the price of less than $3
Jjj Jjj Try tightline mascara. My lashes are the same. IT Cosmetics makes a tightline. But so does L’Oreal. The L’Oreal tightline is called Telescopic. The wand is super small and it gets the mascara super close to your lash line. Just wiggle it up and let it dry. Do another coat and finish with a volumizibg mascara like Diorshow. Hope that helps!

I was amazed at how much difference it made when you put the eyeliner at the base of your Top lashes at the very closest point to the upper inner eyelid, it made a huge difference and I will definitely be doing this. everytime I tight line, it transfers to my bottom water line, which looks HORRIBLE when lined with black. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? 😐 Waterproof pencil or something? Suggestions anyone, please?
Jeanette Teurlay I’ve never tried tight lining but I’ve heard that water proof liners help a lot (Rommel Scandal Eyes kohl liners are good) and I’ve heard that setting the liner with eyeshadow helps
I put the liner one BEFORE mascara so I can put it on the underside of my lashes. I use a soft pencil, or eye shadow interchangeably as the liner since I have very hooded eyes. Wayne Goss has really helped me learn how to tightline my eyes. I have only done so for the past 2 months, but now I got people Staring at me and compliments from people that have seen me every day for the past year!
Thanks for all the tips! I love finding new ways to make my eyelashes look even longer! What has really worked for my eyelashes (even long term) is an eyelash growth serum! I don't even mind leaving my house without mascara on!
I use to cake on the mascara and everyone thought mine were fake but my honest advice is don't. It's not good for your lashes and you lose A LOT of them. Falsies are a lot less damaging bc your lashes can't breathe with so much product and if you worry about having little eyelashes you shouldn't afford to lose anymore!
To get the mascara mess off just wait for it to dry and use a Q-tip and gently wipe it off. It will flake right off but make sure its dry before doing it or you'll make a mess.
