To get The Master Sword You Can Swap Hearts for Stamina and vise versa Like it BOTW - Iv been told The Endura Carrots Work, but did not have a save to test it, So that may be wrong. please let me know your experience!
@@MagzCarson There is a horned statue in the emergency shelter at Lookout Landing. An npc named Jerrin asks you to find it in the side adventure called "Who Goes There" it's behind couple of bolders
i was nervous about clicking this video, im not watching any other “early game do this” videos, thank you so much for keeping as much info to yourself as possible!!
Warning: DO NOT do the last memory (at the spiral thing in Akkala) until you have 2 stamina bars. If you do this with not enough stamina and fail, you wil have to find the sword in a different location and that could be anywhere in Hyrule. Save yourself some time and only attempt to get the sword if you have 2 stamina bars.
Might have been unintended in 1.0 and patched in the update... there were a few things that seemed to have gotten patched that would go unnoticed to the average player.
Was definitely skeptical about clicking the video, but you did a great job of keeping true to leaving out the pieces of the journey that everyone needs to experience for themselves. Will definitely be coming back to this video when my Master Sword journey is ready. Thank you.
Same💛 I will be coming back to this video later ! I wanted the master sword early but when I saw that you have to collect memories and start a very big and important quest, I think imma wait and start when I'm ready to take the game's lore.
My only gripe is that a majority of chests just aren't as rewarding, for the effort, as they were in botw. It's also a little saddening that we don't have infinite bombs, but that's whatever.
I was so invested in the story, that i got the master sword early "by accident" lol. I even had the exact ammount of stamina for it cuz i was doing a lot of shrines to max it out. Didnt even know how much i needed
Something fun to note, in the forgotten temple on the walls, it shows the glyphs in cronolagical order. I actualy followed that order and never got confused or had to look back what the previous memory was
There is a second method for getting to the Master Sword quest. You can also trigger it from getting to the Deku Tree, but this route will be *MUCH* harder than the one in this video. Won't say why for spoiler reasons.
well, i discovered this route the painful way. At least i had the barbarian armor and the fierce deity boots. The good part is, you get some "handy" tools after that.
@Willems Robbie Yea, I restarted my game as I had a really rocky start due to not noting things and marking stuff properly, and I decided to go the memory route this time.
It's really neat that they made two possible ways to obtain the quest for the Master Sword, and this one even comes with story parts, absolutely fantastic
13:10 Easier to use sky islands that are higher and give a solid footing to line up and time your flights. A couple of the glide challenge "towers" make great take off points for link or a device you make. a couple near these even have launch ramps for wings.
It really changes the way you see the world too! Now everytime someone talks to me about that one lady I'm like "Link why don't you tell them?" Lmao. Plus it got me really excited to learn more about the lore amd story of this game!
You don’t have to do any of this, all you have to do is have stamina wheels and it didn’t work for me when I tried to boost my stamina wheel with food it makes the temporary wheel disappear during the scene when you’re pulling the sword out. You only need two full stamina wheels and you can jump on her from the great sky island
I tried to do that but waited a looong time and never saw her pass. I also warped there when I finally saw her up in the sky, but when I landed at the highest island I couln't see her anymore... how did you managed to find her?
Thanks for being respectful of your viewers' experience and not spoiling a bunch. SO many other content creators are completely disregarding this and ruining things. I almost can't use RU-vid just because of the titles and thumbnails. Edit: I did nothing but Stamina out the gate, let's do this, lol.
Funny just how incorrect this video is. You don't need to do a single Geoglyph to get the sword, and Temp Stamina does NOT work! You can simply get it at any time after you have two stamina wheels.
i remembered this after I saw a cutscene memory that went from 0 to 100 real fast lol, Im trying to get the rest in order now for story progression reasons, but I'm glad that it doesn't matter
Just so you know, shes in the sky from the fkrst second you wake up in game. If you look up, you can see her all ther tume and can get the master sword at any moment you have 2 stamina wheels. Shes very high, so you will need to build a machine with a lot of batteries, but you can grab the swords whenever you want, no geoglyphs required
@@AmateurHour_ Shes not present "100% of the time", and she flys down in to the chasms too, you have to track her movements and watch. Ie found her morning side near eldin and afternoon / later at night over Laurlin village.
Also as I got my master sword yesterday without completing all the tears I can say quite confidently that you do not need to do all the geoglyps to get it. You just need to clear the blight in the deku tree which will give you the quest re obtaining the hero’s blade
Lmao I got the master sword without all the tears or even finishing any of the Regional Phenomena Quests 😅 dont even know how to enter the lost woods yet
"How to Get Master Sword EARLY" *describes long series of map-spanning processes and prerequisites that take so much time that it can no longer be reasonably considered "early" lol* It's clear the game is heavily designed around preventing you from getting it quickly. Which is fair, and still less restrictive than BOTW. I do really appreciate the full guide to each location. Loving the channel.
@@quintonwinton7210 miss the 20 shrines part… or farming endura carrots and such to get the Stam wheels? Once again you can’t just do this without prep, considering the video is showing the tear method I’ll go off of that, and running around with only 4 life is hard when black gobs can 1 hit you or other things like stone talus or a slew of other mobs can really ruin your day… call me bad all you like but having a full unlocked map does not just happen, pulling the sword does not just happen, you don’t start the game with the mats to make the stam refills and stam expansions unless you get lucky on the amiibo rng (IF you have amiibo). I liked the video but common don’t try and act like everyone here is an souls vet / BoTW vet.
U can skip the entire quest line bu going into a chasm near lost woods and sprint to where ur directly under lost woods and just ascend and your there. U do have a boss fight that’s really fun no spoilers so have enough meals.
Not a spoiler, but if your playing right now, go to links old house, find the well to the right of it, and read the book you find down there. Trust me, it’s my favorite little side adventure so far! ( and there’s a little nod to links old hairstyle down there too)
I just don’t like how they call it Zelda’s house… lol but I guess that also means that they basically living together there for people there to think that
I retrieved it by accident and never did the tears search because I haven’t followed the main story. It was so funny how I was investigating the sky and by luck fell into the dragon’s head haha
Wow the fact that you can fuse things with the Master Sword too is so cool. God damn I can't wait to play this fkn game. What a beautiful representation of the best things about videogames: lots of participation with the story, choosing your own adventure (or how to complete your own adventure) and using your imagination to overcome obstacles. Not to mention an awesome story with amazing design and graphics. Good job Nintendo!
I cheesed it by blowing myself out of the arena then finding and clipping back to the the giant’s arena doing that glitch 3 times was wayy more fun than actually running the gauntlet for 60 attack
I don't know if anyone has tried this, but the goron who can separate fusions in Tarrey town, is he able to remove a fused item from the master sword. If so then for 20 rupees you could save your fusion before the master sword depletes
This game is an incredible achievement of software, product and project engineering. As well as those that worked on the artwork and storyline. Very impressive.
At northeast Hyrule field, and right to the south of the Boneyard Bridge is one of the big pink Cherry Blossom trees that kind of glows. An Endura Carrot is on the ground close to the trunk. I believe that's where I found my other ones, at the Cherry Blossom trees
Huh. Another vid showed that to find the sword a bit easier we have to clear the great deku tree chamber and fight the gloom mini boss. But that would essentially bypass the main story, so I’ll do the tears quest then the lost woods before Hetsu goes back.
You don't need to do any geoglyphs at all, but it helps. Deku tree also helps And I don't know if it was a glitch or not, but the extra temp stamina bars didn't help at all when I tried it.
Don't eat the stamina meal it does not work for pulling the sword out have to have your actual wheel to 2 like in video also if miss the opportunity she does not appear again in same area from what I'm seeing thanks for vid though hopefully i can figure it out
Even with this video it was so damn hard to find these things, the tears are so tiny and difficult to see. I died of the cold twice even with cold resistance meals. GOD!!
Well, I recently learned the item duplicate glitch so if you loose the material when the master sword runs out of energy for weapon fusing, make sure you duplicate the item you wanna fuse. You can find a simple tutorial and it’s actually so easy
The food buff that gives you Max Stamina DOES NOT work to pull the Master Sword. It requires the green wheels of stamina. Tried it last night, the yellow temporary stamina will not be taken into consideration.
Dude thank you for the guide. I've already completed the wind and fire temples so I wanted to get the master sword before I tackled the rest. The quest for the dragons tears was worth it instead of going with the other route. Definitely a teary eyed moment with the dragon's tear memory. Again thanks for the help finding them :)
1:25 Does not work. When you pull the sword your bonus stamina vanishes. Tried this and then had to re-find her, after going to trade my hearts for stamina bars.
you can also skip this with little story problem issue by going to the great deku tree and the sword will be lowerd and marked on the map making it 1000x easyer to get
I tried with stamina items and it didn't work and haven't been able to get to her since. Upset I listened to this 😆 Definitely go in with 2 stamina bars, no exceptions
Honestly I’m glad I ran into this video before making any decision about getting the master sword. I’ll actually just play as I was but I’m still gonna try and get that quest
I did this main question without knowing I'll be receiving the sword.....so obviously I was both shocked and ecstatic. I didn't have 2 full stamia bars but once I was prepared, it took a few more hrs to locate her which added to the suspense lol
Quick Tip: You don't need to get all the memories for this at all. Just head to the chasm near Lost Woods and use Ascend to get to the Deku tree, clear the enemies there and the Deku tree quest will give you a marker on the Light Dragon's location anytime. I'm waiting to pull the master sword so I can farm him and the other 3 dragons it fly close to.
The Point of this is to inform people not to skip it, because its important. every video out there covers skipping it. I had a video skipping it too, but the story of the memories is important to inform the player of whats actually happening
I found the master sword without the geoglyph. I got lost in the depth. Emerge to the surface in front of the deku tree and he tell us where to find the sword.
I failed to pull the sword after learning that the food doesnt help, but now ive circled the map (going both directions) for like 3 hours and cant find her again ;-;
WHAT. I didn't have to do ANY of this. I just went to the korok forest and the Deku Tree told me the dragon's location and i just went there. I'll now go do these quests. Edit: 11:46 lmao that's what I also said when i got the sword.
Idk if I misunderstood, but you don't need to do all the memories to get the mastersword. Idk if you need any at all, however, doing the first one where Impa's blimp is could help. This is the only memory I had unlocked when I got it anyway. All I did was to go to the Korok Forest and talk to the Deku tree, who gave me the quest to locate the Master Sword. After that I could get it no prob
I didnt do a single geoglyph I never even started that questline I just went to Korok Forest did the stuff there then u talk to Deku Tree and they will mark on the map for you where the sword is and you can go grab it
He lied when he said you can use food to increase your stamina because when you go to pull the master sword it will not use the extra stamina so you have to go to 20 shrines ( if you only have one stamina bar) and then use your light orbs to increase you stamina
It's fairly obvious several clips here were recorded from ryujinx/yuzu as there are a number of rendering artifacts that show up that are not in the switch. 🙂
Or If you are a savage like me go straight to the deku tree through the depths and defeat the bosses and unlock it that. I recommend you go to hyrule castle and get good weapons.
Have we figured out why it's base dmg isn't visible? I heard somewhere it now scales with hearts and stamina, but I don't know if that's true, and by what ratio. Would be interested to see the math
