I resolved my problem signing in within 10 minutes compared to other forums and videos that did nothing to help.
Sir, please. I forgot to back up my accounts on the Microsoft Authenticator app, and now I have changed my device. I can't access my email because it keeps asking me for authenticator codes, which I can't provide because I can't sign in. Is there a way you can assist me?

Thank you for showing us this solution. However when I use the 6 digit code to “authenticate” it doesn’t work. Do I have to delete the previous account which showed the ‘8 digits’ within Microsoft Authenticator.
I’m having same problem. This videos method does set up another account on authenticator with the same account name. But the site im trying to log into will not recognize the code as correct. So although this method does allow you to get a 6 digit code. It isn’t the correct code . So it would seem the site requesting the code doesn’t recognize the new account or something. Hoping someone with more IT knowledge can resolve this
