How To Get Minimalist, Silent Stranger, and Frugalist All in One Go (FULL GAME)

This is very close to how i did these achievements. It was a pain. Here is a tip that helped me clear it especially at the end when i was fighting bosses like krauser with limited armor and health. Since you're playing assisted and if you dont care about time, dying and continuing on purpose will actually make enemies easier to kill by lowering their hp and making them easier to hit on your next load. This includes boss encounters. So the strategy if you take a lot of damage during an encounter, is to die on purpose to reload the save from the beginning of a fight, regain the health you had at the start and then the enemies will both be easier to hit and take down since they'll have less health.

Guys if u have probs with the Frugalist trophy, after beating this run, reload the save just before Saddler, get every other gun from storage, or buy a rocket launcher and get the trophy in seconds.

I enjoy playing this game so much i just went for no damage play thru instead of just the required no healing items used just to challenge myself and i finished 2 days ago after starting 4 days ago was fun and challenging mostly fighting Krauser because his grab attacks damage u most the time even if u break free on hardcore and professional... i also did the no merchant with the no damage to get 2 trophies at the sametime while doing personal challenge and i started Pistol only yesterday

I was worried about Krauser knife fight because I never use the knife and am terrible. On Assisted, I put on the Deer Antlers before the fight, used the maxed fighting knife, and had the Illuminados Emblem charm. I spammed parry and evade and quick jabbed him a few times. He was dead before I even had to kick him. No damage. What a relief! Extriaa, I love your videos!

Also if anyone Is dreading the final boss with just the pistol and if your low on health, save the game right before the boss then you can heal yourself and finish him and get the Minimalist trophy, And once you get the trophy to pop return to the save and the counter will be reset giving you the chance to get the frugalist and buying the rocket laucher. (If you have the money that Is)

I tried this in a new assisted game a week ago, it was hard but fun. Took like, 5.6 hours in-game time (even longer if you count how many save reloads). Basically had to use un-upgraded Red-9 and SR-09 R for the entire game.

Primal knife, Blacktail, and Matilda was my go to. Blacktail for general use, and Matilda when I'm in a pinch

I did the Frugalist and mininalist in the same run Matilda,Primal knife, cat ears. A better tmp that melted bosses. On assisted naturally but was a decent change of pace.

Top tip, if you all are doing this, please play on Assisted, dont go reckless mode and do it on hardcore or professional Possibly standard, but I recommend you do it on Assisted NG+

I used primal knife, SG-09, punisher and blacktail (save 350 pistol bullets before doing this run) in NG+ assist mode. I got hit 5 times (random bullshit axe from behind, verdugo, salazar, arrow and grabbed from behind) before fighting Saddler. But I admit doing Minimalist, Silent Stranger, and Frugalist in somehow fun BTW: holy crap I feel Krauser took so many bullets in my run, I have to reload this fight so many times to do it flawless

Subbed, also just started playing it but ig need to beat it more than once haha

I did this with the cat ears to avoid having to worry about ammo

Finally completed the pro run right under 5.5 hours; that was difficult for me! anyways, in last save in chapter 16 at the merchant before the Saddler fight, did as you show but in my case the merchant only had 3 blue resources; I upgraded everything, I have the elite knife and the Krauser one but sticking with the elite which is unbreakable; I do also have Matilda, upgraded it together with red9 and black tail, then beat pro got my S+ rank with all the goodies...equipped cat ears, had some difficulties to start as the right way to do it is to load a new game right from after beating the game in that save; in my case is save 16, if you beat the game and try to load new game assisted it will not have your health and all worked so hard to get, so right after i resolved the issue now playing this, I am already at the village and with my 3 pistols, experimenting, full health bar and now when they touch me I load the last save and do it again at will, seems this one will be bettereapon to shoot constantly with it to play in this way; all the ammo and stuff collected goes to the merchant but at some point no need to sell anything after everything that can be used is upgraded; the cat ears do give infinite ammo but the thing is that one needs to reload, I still have some golden tickets, wondering if I can make a with it.

I actually didn’t think of doing this run in new game plus with upgraded weapons I did a clean run with base pistol and knife 😭

I completed mine after doing a "Collect-all-treasures" run using the infinite RPG on assisted mode and proceeded to spend all the money on pistol upgrades (I used the sentinel nine and Red9 actually) As for the knives, I didn't unlock the primal knife yet so using the main two knives (both the combat knife and the fighting knife fully upgraded) It was a bit tedious at some places but it was fun af (the regenerators were a pain to deal with)

@58:50.. u can skip shooting the horse fish and go pull the snake right away, Ashley will then pull the horse fish, and so fast as well, which is very surprising from Ashley.. Just thought to mention this for the ones who really wanna save more ammo.

I’m currently going for this trophies, sentinel nine and primal knife, no cat ears even though I have it. I’d die to everything in 2 hits because I saved the game after taking lots of damage.

a tip that I am doing rn if you have the infinite rocket and hand cannon go through a run before you try this, and during that run only get hand gun ammo when I was doing this before the castle I had like 400 hand gun rounds and I had to delete some to make space for anything

Another great showcase run on how to get certain things done that would've helped me a lot had I seen it before I did it myself. I only had a barely upgraded combat knife, only the Red9 and no items to craft beforehand which made things harder than they needed to be which ended with me having to forfeit the no healing in this run as I wasn't to kill Saddler this way - one grab and I was toast. In the end I got everything done either way, but it left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth after playing 15 chapters of no healing and then this. I specifically wanna praise your explanations for certain stressful situations like the cabin or the Bella sisters fight as I tended to panic a bit once things don't exactly go according to plan, you make it sound a lot easier which will definitely help a lot of people pull through here with minimal to no damage or problems. Edit: I also just realized that I didn't Ashley's armor for my run ... I still have no idea why I was so obsessed with doing the triple run as my second run right after finishing the game for the first time.

Just run the the professional S+ with the hand cannon unlimited after chapter 7 and then just have tons of fun with the Matilda/primal knife on assisted and you got a basically a machine gun with a unbreakable knife. You can get the no heal, no merch, pistol/knife all in one easy run

My personal favorite pistol is the five seven in this game paired with the laser.

For anyone struggling with last boss fight, safe at the last merchant, complete the fight with pistol knife only and no talking to merchant WITH healing, then finish game, DONT overwrite your save, then reload save, buy rocket launcher from merchant and complete the game without healing

Ended up using the default gun. Leon gets at the beginning of the game and max it out. I was hitting Crits like crazy. Really useful for bosses cause I just got through bosses really fast. Really wish I maxed out at least one of the other guns for fire rate.

Extriaa, I have a question. Are there any knives that will disqualify my minimalist run? I have a six handguns and all the knives (including primal). Thats it. I ask because I'm getting mixed messages online, but decided to come to you

How bad do you think this would be with only the maxed out red9, and the primal knife, with cat ears? I cant get the blacktail maxed without an entire other playthrough cause I accidentally did an overwrite on my save.

I was a fucking madman on doing this challenge with just chicken hat and maxed out default handgun and fully upgraded combat knife and almost broken krauser's knife...oh and i did it on standard...so the only saving grace was that at the start of each chapter you would get a minimum health refill...oh and i started it with just 40 bullets... it wasn't bad until saddler boss fight, took me like 3 hours cause i was on min hp, no vest and all knives broken. fun fact: you don't really need to worry about ammo until the very last two chapters in the game where you should start conserving all the resource S and handgun ammo. Once you start getting low on ammo, enemies drop ammo instead of pesetas. and never use your resources to craft ammo unless you absolutely dry since the game detects if you have a decent amount of ammo, they wont give you any from boxes/enemies

I prefer the punisher hand gun… that thing carries when it comes to the regenerators

Hello I have a question. If I'm going to do the frugalist and the silent stranger can I use the chicago sweeper and the infinite rocket launcher?

I did this on playthrough 3 using a maxed out SG with laser sight for everyday use, maxed out Red9 with stock for bosses, and maxed out Matilda with stock for crowd clearing. On Assisted health regens to caution so it's enough for a couple of hits through the game. I would have gotten all three in one playthrough, but I thought that the Silent Stranger had to be a new game, so that was a fun accidental challenge

Just a small tip… keep a few herbs in ur inventory so the crates dont keep giving herbs instead of ammo or gunpowder.. btw love ur Re4 guides.. i got my s+ on professional with hand cannon using ur guide.. just watching this one to hear u commentate… just love the way u explain stuff😅

Sounds like a silly question but does shooting molotov's and dynamite in Granados hands and them dying from burned or explosion, does that disqualify the minimalist trophy?

How do you poke with the knife for Krauser? I've only done the poking knife animation a couple times I am on Xbox too in case you know how to do that animation on all platforms.

Dude, thank you so much for this guide! Sadly, when I did my run, I only had the pistols somewhat upgraded (firepower max but not the reload) and it can killed me! It took me so much longer to complete… the Ramon fight took me HOURS to beat lol

I've noticed if I put a fully upgraded weapon in storage it resests the upgrade when I take it back out wtf on professional
