This was great, but I need a part 2! Once you've cleaned up the vocals to sound amazing, how do you sit them into the mix? Then a part 3 where you then master the whole track ready for radio! 🙏🙏🙏
is the Nectar plugin added to the Group or each of those tracks? How did you get it to split 3 tracks like that? it looks like that is one audio track under a group?
so sadly my problem is that nectar 3 and insight 2 or even ozone 8 always shutdown when i use them with other program so ive been forced to use ozone 8 as a standalone ANYWAYS MY QUESTION IS DOES INSIGHT 2 OR NECTAR 3 HAVE A STANDALONE VERSION BECAUSE I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE THE RELAY PLUGIN A TEST
When I rescan under Managing plugins it is showing that it is there BUT when loading samples on the channel rack in the FL studio it's not showing despite checking ✔️ it, someone to help me me please
Glad you liked it. I'm not sure what BigJerr used to record the VOX on this one. You mean what mic was used yeah? Likely something like a Rode NT-1 condenser.
Good tutorial. It's good to know how to make a super-slick, overproduced pop commercial sound, even if that's not musically what you're into as an artist... Frankly, I don't understand why anyone on a budget would stump up the money for a paid plugin like this when Reaper already offers all the same functionality (yes, including dynamic EQ's from mrelwood and TDR Nova...). If anybody disagrees with this and can make me change my mind, by all means let me know.
There are always low budget and freeware ways to produce music. That's the nice thing about where we're at as an industry. I'm a huge fan of TDR Nova, personally. That said, Nova does have some limitations and paid plugins like Neutron, Nectar, or FabFilter Pro-Q3 offer some more advanced features that many users value enough to pay for them. It's up to you at the end of the day. I use a combination of freeware and paid plugins in my music, although in general I find the paid plugins offer useful additions that I often use and prefer.
Hey mate. Thanks for watching and commenting. Is there any particular artist or style of trap vocal you're interested in making? Reference examples are great.
Thanks for replying I love this Chanel good tutorial well I do latín Trap like Anuel bad Bunny I can give you one of my session if u need some or trap artist from the USA like roddy ricch ,nba youngboy & juice wrld u will get a lot of view if ya do videos like that
Nice one. Hey if you have a session of your own and you want to submit it, I can take a look. Message our support at the Warp Academy website and mention we were chatting on RU-vid. Cheers!
They're very different animals. UAD plugins are all trying to sound analog. Nectar is not. It also isn't limited by an attempt to emulate an analog interface.
Am i the only one who thinks that Delay and Reverb should not be Inserts? It should be on Sends with an EQ in front and a Compressor after. That is how you get control. But ok nice for beginners.
Agreed that it would be nice to have them routed in a send and return configuration. But given this application, it's better to have them as inserts than not at all.
