Hey! Thank you for watching. Here are the links to the maps used in the vid: First part of the video is footage of Refrag's Crossfire mode: play.refrag.gg/. I am not sponsored and this is a monthly service. Warmup map used: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3070389038&searchtext= Surf map: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3073875025&searchtext=utopia Everything else is just valve servers:)
I put out aim training videos but by far the best tactic that I use for 60%+ hs on faceit, is just pistol dm. it inherently trains tapping and flicking. after pistol only dm, go into a regular dm server and use pistol only. you're likely going to go negative but that's the essence of training not to panic
I always play best when the first thing I do in warmup is use deagle against rifles in dm. Slow fire rate forces you to be really precise with aim and consistent with movement.
@@Fyr35555 I’d recommend usp/glock to start because you can keep your movement more fluid and not have to counter strafe every shot like with the deagle
This might be the most useful tutorial video I've ever seen for any game. Almost everything you said here is new to me. You're simply on another level when it comes to educational content. Believe me that once CS2 gains traction, new players will be swarming these videos and your channel. You have great talent and are a very pleasant person to watch.
Great video, lots of good content here. The CS community is lucky to have you. Also, awesome to see you warming up with Crossfire, wait until you try our Defender mode :)
Your peeking video got me out of silver. Your first video on using flashes was what got me to GNM. And when you said to buy util (I forgot which video) I squeezed my way into MG2. I had just started playing counter strike that summer. Keep posting, each time you do I get significantly better
amazing video, counter swinging and doing a warm-up between games was what i found most valuable from everything you said. even after over 1500 comp wins in global offensive i felt a reset when switching over to cs2 so now i look at tutorials same way i did 4 years ago lol. But wont need to waste any more time since you included basically everything in 10 minutes. thanks alot 😊😊
i just tried your DM warmup strat and wow, i immediately feel a lot more confident in my aim ability. also, an underrated way to practice this: do it with an m249. the insane recoil just makes it that much easier when you switch to the AK.
I took a break from CS after making it my main game for the past couple or months. Just finished watching this and realised the potential of banking those flashbangs, time to grind it out.
As a CT (or T I suppose but more so CT) use your smokes as a cover to peek around if the other team is using util on you. Smokes can work just as well for you as they can against the enemy.
Great video! I'll be controversial and say that panic spraying is good, actually. You need to start spraying as soon as possible. What makes it bad is not being able to adjust the spray to their head if you miss your first bullet. And no, you don't have time to calmly aim, or disengage and repeek when an actual elige or ropz is focused on you with intent. Try it on warmupserver DM or any other place where you can meet pro players. If they miss their first bullet they'll at least tag you with the second and spray you down with the rest. Their time to kill is so short, your best bet is always to commit to the spray (even crouch if you have to), trust in your spray pattern and hope you'll get more bullets into them first.
I think what you said about panic spraying and thinking that if you don't insta kill your enemy, you will die is my biggest issue right now. I have gotten killed by insane shots so many times in the last 30 games that I have developed that fear too and now I am spraying even when I am not fully accurate just cause I think I need to shoot faster to kill the enemy. Also maybe sometimes reacting with counter strafing as fast as possible when you see the enemy is maybe not the best and doing some enemy crosshair avoiding with your movement a tiny bit before you actually stop to shoot is benefitial? Because I have been counter strafing as soon as I see the enemy and so many times when I stop, I get shot in the head. It seems like the enemy always has their crosshair placement perfect for me but maybe I am just super good at stopping exactly where the enemy is holding.
The buying util tip is good and bad at the same time because even in DMG/LE level, so many times I see people going first from mirage's A ramp to tetris with a full belt of utility, but they don't know the default, or the under palace, or the triple molly, then a CT swings out based on timing to get a free kill. Don't autopilot into buying full util every round unless you have planned to use them for a spot. Ofc if you don't buy util and become an aim player you're gimping yourself, but that's the consequence of refusing to learn.
It's Refrag- I added a link to it in the pinned comment. It's a monthly subscription for diff practice methods and tools, so up to you if it's worth it
@WilsonCS2 What's the game mode you were showing at the beginning of the video where bots peeked you from random angles? Please let me know. Appreciate the content you put out. ❤️
yo wilson i think you should talk about things like crossfires and trading. not a lot of tip videos go over this bc i think they think its common knowledge. but to many times i will be fighting an enemy and my teammate is jist standing behind the corner waiting for me to die
I remember watching the video of Jared and thinking “that could never be me.” And then I dropped a game where I was 0/13 through 16 rounds with 7 ADR. No tilt. Was genuinely trying 🤷 I just got one-tapped or shot by an awp on every single peak
8:05 they are peeking from right to left while you are left to right. Makes Ferraripeeks more unlikely. Might be worth just Holding a good angle and let them run into your crosshair.
Dont be afraid to check out follow recoil in settings to help you get a idea of certain sprays down, its all fun and games till you get in a real match and forget the spray!
I'm neither Wilbert nor Wilson but would release at the same time. There's also a bind which you can put on the reload key to do consistent "middle throws". Think it was something like, bind r "reload; +attack; -attack; Got to have the nade cocked, then press R.
Yeee I typically go left click -> right click to start it, then release both at the same time. But since this recent update, they've been feeling suuuuper inconsistent and will often just end up being left click distances for some reason. Hope it gets fixed
Listen to this man. It took me 6000 hours to realize I don't have to DM for 2 hours or click bots as fast as I can in Aim Botz. Practice your movement and counter strafing while shooting in between. You have no idea how much impact this has, because essentially when you master this, those things become subconscious and you enter "flow state" faster, because your fundamentals are better.
I don't know no lineup for smokes on the all maps and yet I have 20k elo and on smurf when I play alone 18k. How you say, easy flashs for win and aim and fundament things.
For the record, I am no longer the youngest 32yo. Reflexes aren't what they used to be. But still the most important is mouse sensitivity and dpi. I have 400dpi ans my sens is 1.4 in game. edpi is 560. I didn't come across a person who had a smaller edpi :D
