Best plan is to fill the pot up with kit you rarely need access to, that way recent additions don't go in the pot

in a base i like to stack car tents on top of each other to get more slots for loot. i think atm i have about 15 car tents stacked in the same place so im not using up all my space in base. canopy tents are great for stacking too

I think the plate carrier with a holster + the hip bag+ assault boots are the best combo for saving and gaining space. holster frees up space that a pistol would take, the hip bag frees up space that a canteen would take and gives you 6 extra slots, and the assault boots save space that a knife would take up. pistol is usually 6 slots(can be 8), the canteen is 4, and a knife is usually 2 or 3 slots, at a maximum you can save 12 slots and gain another 6 from the hip bag(18 slots). also something to be aware of is that ive noticed that pistols, knives, and canteens dont always go into their holster where they are supposed to and sometimes you have to put them there manually which is annoying.

it's a bug. if you holiding your canteen (which was taken from the belt) in the hands and then switch to a weapon using hotkey - this happens

Putting a holster on your plate carrier puts a big hole in it they can shoot right threw it without having to deal with the armor of the plate carrier so basically a death sentence it's a big don't believe me look it up

I noticed when I was playing a bit on ps4 the other day that console actually has a nice work around for this because triangle/ Y actually equips the item instead of just taking it back into your inventory which is square on ps4.

Not sure how it works with the pot and pan but it works for the holsters/belts.

A tip for hot bar useage. There's a decent chance that the pistol, etc won't go back in its holster, slot if you don't press the same hot key to put it away. This has got me in trouble so many times in DayZ

This I a good tip. Another example say you're using a knife and switch to a fire axe that's in your inventory (not on your back) the knife and axe will trade spaces and if there's not extra room you may not be able to put your axe away. Console. Not sure about pc

I didnt know about sawing off the mosin. Imagine a freshie pulling up on you and you let him loot because hes unarmed, only for him to pull out a mosin from his pants 😂😂😂😂

A tip for all you nubs putting a holster on your plate carrier puts a BIG HOLE in it meaning if they shoot you and hit your holster the bullet wont have to deal with any of the armor on the plate carrier its a bug dont believe me look it up. Its a death sentence

Do not saw off the mosin... lol. Also, if you don't have a cooking pot, protective case, or pouches, for whatever reason, you can keep items safe from damage in teddy bears. Fits 2 supressors or 3 grenades of any type

You should have mentioned, that you can put important items like punched card or items that get easyli damaged like suppressors into containers like cooking pot, protector case or even teddys to protect them of getting damage from hits or shots… 😊

I don't think there is any way to repair the field shovel, ive tried duct tape, epoxy putty, the blow torch, and the sharpening stone but none of them work.

Shovels, pickaxes, hammers etc cannnot be repaires. Only items that can cut like knives, axes, saws etc. 😊
